I don’t believe that I ever shared my Luigi squid pastel drawing I did. My Squigi drawing, as it were.

When I was in Japan, I went to TeamLabs Borderless, and one of the activities there was to color in a sea creature with oil pastels and release it into their projection ‘fish tank’ to swim with other fish creations. While waiting on line, I saw that someone had made a squid Mario (Squario) and was like… well, what about Luigi?! So! I made one myself.

I think he turned out pretty good if I do say so myself! The picture on the left is the one I took right after making him. The one on the right is after a month of being forced in my luggage. 😅😅

Writing Prompts

Your small giggles could be heard through the voluminous echo of the ballroom, the squeaks of your socks following suit as you slid down the long polished hall. Decorative vases on pedestals lining it extravagantly, it always looked so beautiful at day, the marble pillars reflecting all the light thrown its' way..it was admirable.

You could feel the wind through your braids as you ran down the corridor and let your feet glide, carrying you even further. It was..comforting. Exciting. Freeing.

You felt free, felt at home even after all the cruelty..it filled you with genuine happiness.

Turning your head you could see Viathal comfortably sat in a coil at the entrance of the hall, and promptly turning your heels gearing up to sprint back for the...fifth? Seventh time? It didn't matter, you were having fun after all.

"Be careful my lady, you could trip and hurt yourself..your joints are still not what they used to be."

You gave him a warm smile as you nodded your head, you knew of course, but it was fun to still act like they did wasn't it?

"Of course, I-I'm being careful, I promise!"
