CRACKS MY KNUCKLES lets see if I can write something shorter for a change.

Greenblood stained the fox’s snowy white coat as Konoma kneeled beside the fallen lusus, a gentle hand petting the still beast as he shakes his head in sadness and anger. The fall of the Emperor had not yet been a whole month yet the retaliation from the newly formed counsel was sickening, the bounty on his head high and the rumors that his own lusus’s kind were some how demons had spread.The fox under his hand had yet to even have a third tail and it’s life had been forfeit for his actions , an unforeseen price he never knew would befall the tailed foxes of the country. It had also been the one to take the count of how many he had found off of his fingers, a number that made his stomach twist. Was Kamiki hell bent of ridding the whole country of his lusus’s kind? For defending himself against his own Emperor that had gone mad?

 A whine sounds from behind him as his own lusus gracefully comes from the dark underbrush of the forest and stands before its fallen Kin, all nine tails swishing behind it as it bows its head in mourning. Konoma stands to his feet and lets go a heavy sigh, the shovel he had fashioned when he had found the first poor fox taken in cold blood.Tailed foxes where wise creatures, and to slander their noble history was something that the blueblood just could not understand. For Kamiki to take their anger out on these foxes was inexcusable and because of that he needed to give each fox he found a proper burial.Head bowed in prayer Konoma stands and continues on his way, knowing he could not stay any longer for threat of being hunted by the royal guards from Kamiki. His lusus following after dark eyes shifting in his direction with a solemn yet comforting look, here to follow its charge was far as it could now that they only had each other.
