♡ Jordan Phillips ♡
Phillips is a rich boy- at least has more money than The Sandlot boys- so when Valentine’s Day comes, he’s going all out. He buys the best bouquet of flowers and a necklace with a heart shaped pendant.
“Beautiful flowers for my beautiful girlfriend.” Phillips smiles as he hands you the bouquet.
Your cheeks heat up at his words as a bashful smile forms on your lips. “Thank you, Jordon.”
“And…” he takes the black jewelry box out and reveals the necklace.
You gasp at the sight, never having seen something so beautiful and gifted to you.
“May I?”
You nod and Phillips takes the necklace out and steps behind you. The necklace touches the bare skin of your neck and the coldness of it makes you shiver.
Phillips smiles and clasps the clips together. You admire the necklace and touch the heart shaped pendant, seeing how it shines under the sunlight. You then glance at Phillips, only to find him admiring you.
“Do you like it?” He asks.
You laugh softly. “I love it. Thank you.” You kiss his cheek and when you pull back, his cheeks are red as can be.
You giggle. No matter how much you kisse him or been together, Phillips always acts like it’s the first time.
“And you can put a picture of someone you love in the pendant.” Phillips grins innocently as if he doesn’t know what he’s doing.
“Like my cat.” You tease.
The grin immediately turns into a frown and you burst out laughing. “You’re not funny, you know.”
Phillips takes you to a fancy restaurant where you eat the most delicious meals you ever had and desserts that have you wanting seconds.
At the end of the date, Phillips walks you home hand in hand and you seal the night with a kiss.
♡ Benny Rodriguez ♡
Benny has affectionate parents that aren’t afraid to show their love so he knows how to treat his girlfriend.
He packs a basket full of homemade food and sweets his mom helped him make. Plus some drinks and a blanket.
Benny picks you up and you talk without paying much attention to where Benny is taking you. Then he suddenly stops.
“I need you to close your eyes.”
Your brows furrow and you smile. “Last time I did, you and the boys pulled a prank on me.”
Benny chuckles. “That was funny but this is not that. Trust me.”
You sigh playfully. “Only because you’re my boyfriend.”
You close your eyes but to make sure you’re not peaking, Benny makes you wear his cap. With your hand in his, Benny carefully leads the way.
Five minutes later, you stop and he pulls the cap off. Benny had found a spot in the park that was reserved and offered a beautiful view and at a certain time of day, the sun shines just right above the trees and casts an ethereal glow underneath.
That’s how it was. You were speechless as you admired the area, feeling like it was straight out of a Disney movie.
Benny laid the blanket down and offered you his hand so he could help you sit since you’re wearing a dress. You talk and eat and overall have the best time you ever had with Benny.
Then you watch the sunset, the way the sky gets colored pink, red and orange, as you lay next to Benny with his arm around your shoulders.
♡ Scotty Smalls ♡
You were Small's first girlfriend and the only things he knew about relationships were from movies and his parents. So he asks his mom for help.
“You don’t have to buy all of those things you see advertised in the stores.” His mom tells him. “What matters is that you give her something that comes from the heart.”
His mom’s words stick to Smalls as he creates a list of the things he could get you. He thinks hard before deciding he’ll make something for you.
He spends day and night making and perfecting his gift for you. He gets his mom’s opinion and watches some romantic movies to make it better.
He finally has it done and hides it.
Smalls takes you out around town for Valentine’s Day and of course gets you the obvious love card that he thought wasn’t very cheesy but right for his first relationship.
And he gives you flowers he made by hand with paper. “They’ll last much longer than actual flowers and it can represent my feelings for you never dying.”
Who knew Smalls had a way with words?
Your cheeks heat up and you smile. “That’s a beautiful way of saying it.”
You two head to his room where he confesses his surprise gift to you.
Smalls takes out a gift box with a red bow tying the whole thing together from his closet and hands it over to you looking nervous but excited too.
You pull on the bow and lift the lid of the box. Inside was a music box and when you spin the handle on the side, the music playing is the same one that played when Smalls asked you out.
“You made this?” You look at him in awe and surprise.
Smalls nods bashfully, his cheeks faintly turning a shade of pink. “Yeah. D-do you like it?”
“Do I like it?” You scoff. “I love it, Scotty. No one has ever done anything like this for me.”
You set the music box down and kiss Smalls’ cheek before hugging him with all your might. Smalls‘ cheeks turn a darker shade of pink but he doesn't care. He hugs you back as a big, proud smile forms on his lips.
♡ Kenny DeNuñez ♡
Kenny has been pinning over you since the day he saw you and it only got worse when you joined the friend group.
Everyone seems to know about his feelings for you except for you. The boys would tease him about his feelings until his face was burning but you only seem to take it as friendly teasing.
Valentine’s Day was coming up and he wanted to ask you out but he didn’t want to ruin the friendship in case you didn’t reciprocate his feelings.
“You wanna spend Valentine’s Day together?” You repeat Kenny’s words with a tilt of your head and furrow brows.
Kenny smiles and nods. “We’re both single and got nothing better to do. So what do you say? A-as friends?”
You agreed and spent Valentine’s Day with Kenny. Even though it was just as friends, Kenny went all out as if you were more. He got you flowers and heart shaped balloons.
He takes you to the Valentines festival the town has and you two enjoy it. Kenny made sure. He won you stuffed animals from playing games to paying for the valentines theme foods.
Kenny’s never been the happiest even if you were there as friends. You two talk as he walks you home, you hugging the stuffed bear close to you.
You turn to him as you stop at your front door with a smile that reaches your eyes. “Kenny, this has been the most wonderful Valentine’s Day I ever had. Thank you.”
“It’s no problem. Besides, I had fun too.”
You then go quiet and your cheeks suddenly go warm. Kenny notices your flustered state and is going to ask you about it but you speak again before he can.
“Maybe next time we’ll spend it as a real couple.”
Kenny’s eyes widen as he freezes on the spot. It takes a moment for him to realize what you said- what you’re implying and his own cheeks heat up.
“You mean,” Kenny swallows nervously, “as girlfriend and boyfriend?”
You look down shyly and play with the stuffed bear’s paws. “If you don’t want to-“
Kenny suddenly lays a soft kiss on your cheek that lasts for a few seconds before he’s pulling back with a goofy smile.
“Yeah, I’d like that.”
♡ Squints Palledorous ♡
When Squints falls, he falls. Look at how this boy is smitten by Wendy but that was before he met you of course. Now he’s smitten by you. So when Valentine’s Day comes, he goes full romantic.
He writes you love letters, gets your favorite sweets and picks flowers from his neighbor’s garden because nothing’s more romantic than picking the flowers yourself.
“Read this one first.” Squints hands you one of the love letters.
You open it, feeling giddy as you unfold the folded paper inside.
“Do I love you to the moon and back? No, I love you more than that. I love you to the desert sands, the mountains, stars and the planets.” You softly read the letter, your cheeks getting warmer and warmer.
Squints made a reservation at the best restaurant in town with the help of his dad. He even got a violinist to play as you two eat and talk.
Throughout the date, Squints will hand you a new love letter with different things he loves about you or what you make him feel. At the end of the date, he hands the final letter.
“I love you now. I’ll love you when the sun’s gone out and the moon’s gone home and the stars are fully grown.” You read with a big smile.
You look at Squints and hug him tight. “Such a romantic.” You giggle. “And I will love you always.”
Squints smiles big and kisses you on the cheek.
♡ Yeah-Yeah McClennan ♡
Yeah-Yeah loves you, he really does, so he wants to go beyond for you on Valentine’s Day but he gets overwhelmed by the options, wanting to get and do every romantic thing he finds out about, that he ends up with nothing.
“I’m sorry. I really am.” He says as soon as you open the door. He rambled on and you let him until you notice it’s eating him up.
“Yeah-Yeah, it’s fine.” You interrupt his rambling and offer him an understanding smile.
But it doesn’t help. Yeah-Yeah shakes his head with a frown. “It’s not. It’s Valentine’s Day. I didn’t even get you a flower. I didn’t get you a-“
You shut him up with a kiss and it’s then Yeah-Yeah calms down. “I don’t care if you didn’t get me anything. I have you and that’s all I want.”
You two end up going to the diner in town and get the specials for the day. Heart shaped burgers, pink colored smoothie that you two share, and Yeah-Yeah gets a rose and gives it to you.
It wasn’t what Yeah-Yeah wanted to give you on Valentine’s Day but it was still the best day.
Yeah-Yeah walks you home and stops in front of your door. “I’ll make it up to you on your birthday, I promise.”
“You better or else.” You tease with a smile and kiss him.
But Yeah-Yeah looks like a deer caught in headlights, feeling it was more a threat than a tease.
♡ Timmy Timmons ♡
Timmy wasn’t one for romance or being lovey-dovey. Your relationship was just a regular friendship with the occasional holding hands and hugs you would iníciate most of the time.
So you didn’t expect anything like the other couple would do on Valentine’s Day. But you did dress up.
Timmy invited you over to the tree house and you two spent playing board games and having fun.
Sometime during the third game, Timmy’s mom comes out to inform you that your mom was on the phone. You excuse yourself and take the phone call.
It started off normal but then your mom started rambling about something random to the point it goes way off topic and has you stumped.
Luckily, Timmy’s mom saves you.
“Why don’t you go back to the treehouse. Timmy is waiting for you.” She says with a knowing smile that has you confused.
You climb up the treehouse and as soon as you walk inside, you stop in your tracks. “Timmy?”
“Surprise.” He smiles.
Timmy stands in the middle holding a bouquet of flowers with a Valentine’s Day theme note and heart shaped balloons.
You approach him with hesitation, feeling like the whole thing was a dream. Your eyes dart from Timmy to the balloons to the flowers and back to him. His smile never once falters.
“Happy Valentine’s Day.”
A grin slowly forms on your lips and in a blink of an eye, you tackle Timmy into a hug, not caring if you accidentally squish the flowers that were still in the way before he could get them out of the way.
♡ Tommy Timmons ♡
You go over to Tommy’s house and he opens the door wearing clean and ironed clothes. He smiles when he sees you and hands you a single red rose.
You giggle as you take it and walk inside.
The table in the kitchen is covered in a white cloth and in the middle was a vase with flowers and a candle next to it.
Tommy pulls the chair out for you and you take a seat. His mom comes out with homemade food and you compliment her on it.
Tommy wasn’t much of a talker but his actions did most of the talking. You didn’t mind. You enjoyed it and love that you didn’t need to talk to have a good time with him.
Once dinner is done, you two move to the living room to watch a movie that’s playing- a romantic one. You lean against Tommy as you watch and half way through the movie, he hands you a card.
It was one of those you see in the card section in Vincent’s drug store and the writing inside the card was very cheesy but it makes you smile like a fool.
You look at Tommy and find him looking at you with pink cheeks and a soft smile.
“I love it.” You say honestly and kiss his cheek before scooting closer to him.
He smiles and leans his head against yours.
♡ Ham Porter ♡
The way your relationship started with Ham was because you challenged him after he was running his mouth. You made him eat his words and since then, he was head over heels.
So when Ham took you to the Valentine’s Day festival and was trying to win you one of the prizes, it wasn't a surprise you started running your mouth just like he did.
“Oh, come on, Ginger. I’ve seen Smalls throw better than this.” You tease as he’s struggling to knock down the tower of bottles.
Ham huffs and glares at you. “Nuh uh plus I taught that kid everything he knows.”
You laugh. “Benny did actually.”
He rolls his eyes. “You’re doing a whole lotta talking for someone who isn’t playing.”
“Is that a challenge?”
“Yes.”
You grab the ball from Ham’s hand with a grin and throw it at the tower of bottles. The ball hits right in the middle of it and knocks down the tower.
You cheer and despite the disappointment in Ham’s face, he wears a proud smile at the fact his girlfriend knocked the tower down.
You two spent the rest of the night going against each other on different games and winning each other different types of prizes. And eat the different types of food the festival offers.
In the end, you and Ham are walking home with arms full of prizes and stomachs full of food.
♡Bertram Weeks♡
You and Bertram weren’t enemies but you two weren’t fond of each other. Maybe because you would tease him any chance you got and he would return it ten times more.
But you don’t know when you started liking the banter and enjoying the attention from him, though you would never admit it to him or to yourself.
“Looks like someone is gonna spend Valentine’s Day alone.” Bertram comments with a grin.
“Benny, Stick Boy is talking to himself again.” You smirk before laughing when Bertram scoffs insulted.
“I’m talking about you, Little girl. With an attitude like that, no boy will ask you out.”
You lay a hand on your hip as you glare at him with a raised brow. “Excuse me? Look who’s talking. And for your information, a boy did ask me out.”
It was a lie but Bertram didn’t need to know that.
Valentine’s Day arrives and you’re alone but have to act like you have a date so Bertram doesn’t know. You dress up and make sure you look good before heading to the diner.
Most of the seats were taken so you had to wait for one to open. You stand by the door when Bertram spots you as he’s walking by.
“So where’s your date?” He asks you after ignoring your hints for him to leave.
“He’ll be here any second so leave before he gets the wrong idea.” You lie.
But Bertram doesn’t leave and after five minutes, he declares that you’ve been stood up. It’s embarrassing and you think he’s going to tease you but instead he joins you with the excuse of getting discounted food for being a couple.
You two eat and talk and get to know each other instead of your usual teasing and banter. Things change between you and Bertram, genuine smiles are shared and you both laugh together instead of at each other.
It’s then there’s no denying your feelings for him and unbeknownst to you, he’s no longer denying his feelings for you.
