‘i love my son’ a novella by yours truly. // accepting!
2. do they have any daily rituals?
every day after school, he does four laps of the football field. he began doing this under the advice of his physiotherapist, and has been gradually building up the amount of laps as his strength returns. he’s been doing four for about a month. he also sends sna.pchat streaks on the bus.
4. what would they do if they needed to make dinner but the kitchen was busy?
he waits! he’s incredibly patient and can actually last pretty long without food. ( but he’ll eat a TON of it when he gets the opportunity. ) he’s usually on a protein shake that he drinks because he doesn’t have the time to eat proper meals during the day what with all his clubs, practices, and work, and that shake actually fills him up until he’s got the time to eat! since he’s just one guy, he doesn’t mind forking out for the powder. on days where he’s with company, he tends not to actually cook anything, but rather goes out to his favourite spot in the universe: SBARROS.
6. eating habits and sample daily menu
he’s not a picky eater whatsoever, and eats whatever’s placed in front of him. during the school week, he drinks coffee and has a slice of bread and butter for breakfast, or if it’s a busy day, a protein shake. at school, he’ll eat the cafeteria food, and try to keep as healthy as possible. after school, on fridays, if he’s not working or too busy, he makes time to go to sbarros or another fast food place, usually with a friend or several, and eats something with them. during the weekend, he’ll eat massively rich breakfasts ( this is ESPECIALLY the case when he’s with rich and rich cooks for him, which he appreciates a lot. ) and snacks on fruits throughout the day. again, if he’s busy for most of the day, he carries around a protein shake. dinners are usually something he can cook quickly, so he usually fries or grills whatever’s in his cupboards. he once fried bananas and put them in a sandwich and he claims that it’s the best thing he’s ever eaten.
7. favorite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time
if anyone knows ANYTHING about jake, they’ll know that he hates wasting time. his view of ‘wasting time’ is usually him falling asleep, or catching up on some well-earned z’s in class. this is usually during study or free periods when the teachers don’t show up, he’ll do some work and put his head down for a quick nap. that’s his favourite ‘waste of time’ in his opinion. he HATES wasting time when he knows he can be doing something productive, like a project or homework or study.
@squippd !!
“ ... OH, GOSH. i can’t help you with that. i’m pretty bad at stuff like that. hahaha.” it’s a soft string of chuckles / a slightly NONCHALANT shrug. bob retains a GENTLE smile. “i’m pretty bad at test-taking, so i wouldn’t trust me with that kind of stuff! i haven’t even passed my drivers test or anything yet. but maybe i can help you STUDY?”
