“Have you seen my hoodie?” “Nooo.” “You’re wearing it, aren’t you?” + Kyungsoo
The familiar tune of Call Me Baby rang out. My bare feet slammed into the finely polished wood floors that would soon be ruined because Kyungsoo would not be home for a while. He was usually the one keeping everything clean and trim, and he was also the reason I was dashing through the apartment like a madwoman.
EXO’s famous song was his special ringtone, and he had left yesterday for yet another world tour. I missed him already and found my heart racing and odd noises popping out of my mouth as I skidded across the floor into the kitchen. My fingers grappled pathetically with my phone before I finally opened it.
I was greeted by his wide owl-like eyes shining the bottom part of his face being cut off by the odd way he held his phone. I had tried, multiple times, to show him how to properly hold the phone when face timing and he simply refused to grasp onto the concept. One of his many odd little quirks that I found endearing.
“Y/n?” His deep husky voice sent heat right to my cheeks.
I finally caught sight of how I looked and quickly took on the way he held his phone. Cutting off everything below my nose. My hair still looked like a massive mess but it was better than the blotchy way my face heated up from my frantic run to the phone.
“Yes, babe?” I rasped out still trying to calm down from my little sprint.
“Have you seen my hoodie?” My elation quickly dampened at the question. Of course, he was calling me so soon just to find something he lost–it wasn’t in his nature to be clingy and I knew that though most of the time I adored that quality this time I was genuinely missing him.
I also was wearing his hoodie or at least one of them, “Which hoodie?”
“It’s the one that is maroon with the coffee house logo on the back,” that was definitely the one I was wearing. I also may have stolen it from his pile of clothes he was planning to pack.
“Noooooo,” I was suddenly grateful for the fact that I took upon his odd way of face timing. He couldn’t see what I was wearing and couldn’t accuse me of anything, but then again I was also a shit liar.
His large eyes narrowed a bit, they grew as he pulled his phone closer to his face. Suspicion curled in those dark irises. “You’re wearing it aren’t you?”
“I just said I had no idea where it is,” My voice cracked on the last word and I cringed inwardly. I hated how my voice always decided to betray me.
“You are wearing it!!!” This time his phone pulled back showing more of his face and his eyes were blown wide. I could see the barest hint of a smile at the corner’s of his plump lips before the screen refocused on the upper half of his face again.
I dropped my phone’s camera letting him see the maroon neckline and how it swallowed me up all nice, warm and cozy. His musk surrounded me and made my insides hum, I pouted at him feeling childish at best and stupid at worst.
“I swear I put that in a pile just to pack it,” his eyes narrowed accusingly.
“Ok, I may’ve also just snuck it from said pile so I could wear it while you’re gone,” I jutted my bottom lip out farther. Before he could scold me or something a surprising sound struck me. His dark eyes twisted into little half moons and I could almost picture his squishy smile hiding beneath the screen. He was laughing.
“Yah! What’s so funny?” My eyes went wide this time, heat rushed to my face, and I felt utterly flustered and at a loss for words. Kyungsoo was precious and charming but still a bit possessive of what was his.
“Nothing’s funny, you’re just cute.”
“Shut up.”
Ok, so I’m really embarrassed with how long it took me to write this so I’m REALLY sorry for that but I hope it was worth the wait. Also sorry if it was bad!
Also thank you so much for sending this little request it’s really appreciated <3
Now have some cute Kyungsoo:
