Hmm, is this enough of an ask to talk about what happened to the Ruins of L’Manburg? Probably not lol.
Anyway, we already know how Sapnap met Karl, but what about the others?
Sapnap met Quackity a couple of years ago, Quackity was working multiple jobs and wasn’t doing the best. (He worked at, a casino, a self-owned taco truck, and as a comedian.) Sap was visiting Las Nevadas during spring break, and happened upon Quack’s truck, they hit it off pretty well. Eventually Quackity worked up the courage to ask him out, and he said yes.
Now, how did Quackity and Karl meet? Well I have myself to blame for this one. Quackity was running his normal routes with the taco truck, when he heard a scream, He looked around from the drivers seat, trying to identify where the scream was coming from. (And why it was so quiet but also not?) Eventually he saw a bird attacking some small creature that had fallen from a tree on the side of the road. This occurred near the Ruins of L’Manburg. He got out and shooed the bird away, and discovered Karl. He scooped up the unconscious borrower, and took him into the truck. Quackity nursed Karl for a bit before he woke up, to which Quackity fed him mini-taco’s.
Although Karl did BOOK it as soon as he was well enough to walk. He traveled back to my void and scolded me for pushing him off the tree. So what was happening was that I was telling Karl, “You should take a break from traveling the multiverse with me, settle down, meet your soulmates.” But he didn’t agree, eventually I convinced him to at least observe one of them, Quackity. I was with him in the tree, and he kept on making excuses. So I told him, “Hey Karl, you know how I said that I’d never let you get killed?” “Yeah.” “Trust me dude.” pushed out of tree
Totally not in the server and sees all of it anyway
SHAKES U BDHSNSJAJK I HAVE LOTS OF RAMBLES ABOUT THEM :D i havent shared a few i think so maybe therell b new stuff :)
TW vore n cannibalism (cause theyre scylla u know)
Karls a water nymph :) much like the actual scylla from the myths. He is one of the prettiest nymphs in the area. He meets eret (circe) and the two enter a relationship :) unfortunately karl starts to realize over time that eret had been poisoning hs food, just enough to keep him sick so eret can b the stronger one and care for him. Not long after finding out, he breaks up with eret.
He runs away (still very weak from the poison) and quite literally stumbles into sapnap (a fire nymph) and quackity (a mer with the unique ability to walk on land) who helps heal him and get him back onto his feet. They later fall in love :)
Eret is very jealous when they learn about karls new relationship and ends up going to poison the pond karl goes to every day. But unfortunately, sapnap and quackity join karl that day, which ends in all three writhing in pain and fusing together.
The three crawl their way to the ocean where they hide for a while until eret finds them. Eret felt horrible, vowing to fix this without telling them that she was the one who caused all their pain. The three get used to living with eachother, and get very comfortable with it (together they are a massive being, at least 70 feet tall)
Eret eventually finds them again and manages to seperate karl (without alerting the other two) which causes sapnap amd quackity to loose it, taking karl and attacking eret before escaping and finding refuge in their new home, a cave in the middle of the ocean.
Karl returns to his life as a nymph and does his best to help his two fiances (even if he feels very insecure/like its his fault) to which he later is used to lure sailors into their cave for food.
Karls still immortal! While hes no longer physically a part of scylla, hes still very merged with sap n qs souls :) not even eret could undo that
Techno (Hercules) gives q his eye scar! It doesnt affect qs sight like at all LOL he thinks it makes him look cool (karl lured techno into their cave n when techno went to attack q, karl did his best to hold techno back, only to get stabbed. Karl ignores his wound to make sure q is okay but he is absolutely babied as soon as the other two find out)
Karl also does have to eat humans too, but he can also eat fish! Fish arent as filling for him unfortunately, but if either of his two fiances just give him an arm hell b good for a week lolll
for the first few centuries of sapnap and quackity beign molded together, karl drilled it into his brain that it was his fault that they were like this, but after lots of cuddles and sweet little talks, karl no longer believes this :)
sapnap and quackity actually have a shared storage stomach where their bodies are connected, which makes it easier for karl as he wont be fought over when either of them wants to store him lol (they still fight about who gets to swallow him loll)
after dream (odysseus) gets home and kills all the suitors he sends all the corpses to their cave lolll
some of the younger gods (tommy, tubbo and ranboo, their roles havent been decided yet) actually like hanging out with the three :) (tommy laughs about how karls smaller than tubbo lol)
karl has a little tail!!! it helps him swim :) he can also curl the tail around the fingers of his fiances :)
Very interesting au! I love it! I have to get back to writing my dsmp fic, or I'll never be satisfied. But still, amazing au! I can't wait for more! But I need to request something stupid:
Dream with his shenanigans around the fiances. Be it angst or just pure chaos. I need some, as I don't have enough information to do scylla shenanigans.
I kinda got tired of it but heres the story of dreams growing connection with the fiances :)
Tw implied rape, death threats, fear
“Scylla!” Dream shouted into the enveloping darkness of the creature’s lair. His ship floated in, unmanned.
A suicide mission, this was.
A fierce growl echoed through the cave as Dream felt his boat getting lifted upwards. He faltered on his feet only momentarily as two pairs of glowing eyes glared down at him.
“What is it, mortal.” The one with blue eyes hissed. “Speak your pathetic words before I decide whether to just eat you or not.” It continued. Dream glared at the blue eyed creature.
“I already gave you gifts, the suitors from mine, and neighboring islands. All I ask is for you to hear me out.” He commanded.
The beast stared at its other head questioningly.
“Fine.” The one with the orange eyes returned. “But if we don’t like it, we’ll feast on you.” Dream took a shaky breath.
“In exchange for prey, all I ask is safe travels through your cave. For me and my family.” The silence was deafening.
Scylla stared at him with its piercing eyes. “What do you mean by prey?” The blue eyed head asked. “I lead a ship into your lair with humans, animals, whatever you desire, and you let me and my ship go through.”
Scylla thought for a moment. It was a very tense moment, Dream realized. “Fine.” The one with orange eyes spat.
Deep within their eyes was a speck of love and worry.
Dream knew that look the moment it sparked in its eyes.
…
Dream surprisingly had taken a bit more trips through Scylla’s lair than he thought he would.
His boat had been momentarily docked within their lair as the two heads feasted on the prey they had been given.
“I apologize for taking this many trips, I didn’t realize I would be travelling this much.” He spoke from the bow of the ship.
“We enjoy these snacks.” One of Scylla’s heads hissed. Dream assumed it was the one with orange eyes. “We’ve started a collection.” Dream could practically hear the smile on the blue eyed head’s face.
That was a very morbid thought. Scylla was making a collection of dead bodies.
“I was wondering if I would be able to continue on my journey.” He asked. “We have a question.” Scylla spoke. “Why are you so willing to give us mortals to eat?” Both heads turned to face him.
“I-I’ve made too many enemies. And while I doubt Foolish would attack me again, I’d rather not risk it.” Dream spoke. “So, the Gods hate you?” Scylla asked in response.
“Yes, they do. I do not care, as long as I can spend time with my George and our son.” He spoke in return. “Why? Are you a god?”
Scylla let out a quiet hiss. “You’ll find that this cave is a godless land.” And just like that, Dream’s ship was freed and pushed out into the light.
…
Scylla surprisingly seemed to be in higher spirits since then, letting Dream converse with them.
“If you don’t mind me asking, where did you come from?” Dream asked innocently. Scylla froze, both heads dropping their new prey.
“Eret.” The blue eyed one hissed. Dream thought he heard a very distressed chirp, but he wasn’t certain.
“I was a mermaid, as you humans call them.” The one with the blue eyes hissed, pointing to himself, before pointing to the other head. “He was a fire nymph. Our third is a water nymph.” Dream froze. “Third?” He asked slowly.
“We will not say anything more, aside from the fact that Eret ruined our lives twice.” The one with orange eyes spoke. Dream nodded.
“Where is your…third? Will I ever see it?” Dream asked. “He will remain hidden until we feel it safe for him to roam.” Scylla announced. Dream just nodded.
…
On this trip, Dream had brought George with him.
It was not going as well as he had hoped.
“Oh gods, you’ve befriended a man-eating beast.” George muttered in fear.
“George, this is Scylla. Both of them.” Dream introduced as the two came closer. He debated for a while what they were, and came to the conclusion that maybe Scylla was more than likely three separate beings, if he was right about the third despite never meeting them.
George blinked. “I-I don’t think I understand.” His husband spoke. “These two may share a body, but they are entirely different.” Dream returned, trying his best to explain them to the King.
His husband just nodded in confusion.
“Why did you bring another mortal?” The one with blue eyes growled, before the one with orange eyes slammed their hand down on the ground where the ship was docked. “And why does he reek of the scent of the gods.” The orange eyed one growled.
Dream paled, and George stumbled backwards. “I-I do not know. Please, we mean no harm.” Dream spoke.
“There is no god.” A quiet, but beautiful voice spoke. Scylla turned both of their bodies, as the one with orange eyes moved just a bit, cupping something in their massive hands.
Dream dared to look over the edge, watching a tiny figure float within the grasps of the giant creature.
There was silence.
“Fine. You two can live. For now.” The blue eyed one spoke, before joining the other body in the water, enamored by the miniature form.
“What is that?” Dream asked cautiously as George joined him to look at the strange thing.
The orange eyed body slowly lifted their cupped hands, holding it close to the boat.
Dream stared in shock at the creature who sat in the middle of the giant being's hand. The prettiest nymph he’d ever bore witness to, and yet, they were the size of a human child.
“Hello.” The creature spoke softly. The voice dawned on him.
“You.” He muttered.
The voice dripping with honey, the one with the glowing purple eyes, the one who distracted him while Scylla got into place.
The one who told him to travel through Scylla’s lair, the one who took the appearance of George to trick him into becoming food.
The nymph nodded and looked away. “What are you? A nymph? A siren? A-” “Scylla.” The smaller being spoke.
Dream paused mid-sentence. That-that didn’t seem right, Scylla was a giant monster, Scylla was literally right in front of him. So why is such a tiny creature claiming something to be something so big?
“No, you’ve got to be a siren-” “You dare speak to him like that?” The blue eyed one spoke. “He is part of us. He is our third. He may be smaller, but he completes us.” They continued.
Dream paled. He remembered Scylla speaking of a third.
Does that make all three Scylla?
“...do you three share thoughts?” George asked beside him. “If we desire to, yes. But we can think separately.” The orange eyed one spoke, letting the blue eyed one sit on the rocks and hold their third.
“Why is your third different-” Dream tried to ask, only to get shoved out of the cave by the orange eyed one, who seemed on the brink of destroying their ship.
…
No words were exchanged the next few times Dream went through Scylla’s lair.
He’d learned from George that their son had become Puffy’s champion, and he didn’t think it would be safe to bring either of them with him anymore, seeing just how violently Scylla reacted when Orange had smelled a god.
Oh that’s right. Dream made up nicknames for them. Orange, Blue and Purple. He called them those names as a way to make it easier.
“I apologize for my words, great Scylla.” Dream shouted into the darkness.
“It’s okay!” Purple’s sweet voice spoke, close to his ship. He looked over the edge of the ship, spotting the smaller being. “They get very protective.” Purple spoke, smile evident in his voice.
“Where are the other two?” He asked. “Away. But it’s okay! I love the gifts.” They spoke.
He watched the smaller climb onto the ship, a giggling mess. “Don’t you need to stay in the water?” Dream asked. Purple laughed. “No! I’m a water nymph, there is no need.”
“If you don’t mind, I’m just trying to figure this out. Are you actually a part of Scylla?” Dream asked slowly, letting his ship run aground just enough to stop it from moving.
“Yes, I am.” Purple smiled, exposing their sharp teeth. “I was like them originally, but then Eret hurt us greatly by pulling us physically apart. That’s why I’m different!” Purple smiled at the last statement.
Dream nodded. The smaller seemed too happy for their own good.
Purple decided to venture around his ship, looking at the things he had.
“These are cool.” Purple muttered. “Oh! I have to let you go, goodbye!” Purple rambled before jumping off the ship.
Dream waved as the ship began moving again.
Distantly he heard, “No, I can’t maul him, he brought gifts!”
…
Elliot was stupid for this.
Yes, both of his parents told him to never venture to Scylla’s lair, but he was curious.
Currently he hid in the bottom of his father’s ship.
The waters were particularly rough, unfortunately, and it seemed he was getting sea sick.
“I SMELL A GOD.” A voice shouted, hurting his ears. The ship crashed into something, and he dared peek above.
A massive creature with orange eyes glared with teeth bared. “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!” They shouted, slamming a fist into the deck.
His father, Dream, fumbled backwards. “I do not understand?” He spoke. The creature growled and lifted his dad up. He would’ve said something, but then something brushed his shoulder, causing him to scream.
He ducked back down into his hiding spot as another creature tilted themself downwards to stare at him.
“Hello!” They smiled with a ferocious grin. He stared in shock at them.
“...hello?” He whispered. “Why are you hiding?” They asked, grinning wildly.
“...you scared me.” The creature’s smile fell, instantly backing away. “I never meant to do that…” They pouted.
“It’s okay, I’m not scared anymore.” He lied, pulling himself out from his hiding spot to face the creature.
They were absolutely small, about the size of a child.
He sat down in front of them as the creature looked at him.
He also noticed the two larger creatures watching him as they held his father in a death grip.
The creature sits down in front of him as well, continuing to look him over.
“How about a trade?” He asked loudly, just enough for the other two to hear. “My bracelet for my father?” He finished. The creature thought for a moment, nodding and thinking. “You aren’t a god, I don’t think.” The creature muttered.
Elliot took his cuff off, holding it just in front of the creature.
“Fine.” One of the larger creatures spoke as his father was set on the ship. The smaller creature took it slowly and carefully.
They tried to put it on, only for the band to slide right off. “Hang on, I’ll help.” Elliot smiled, taking the band and slipping it on the creature’s arm, tightening it so that it could stay.
“See? It looks good.” He smiled. The creature smiled widely, tail wagging and hands shaking in excitement.
The creature smiled and waved before diving into the water to join the larger creatures.
The ship began to move again as Dream approached his son.
“You know you weren’t supposed to come.”
…
The next time Dream saw Scylla, Purple had quite literally swam all the way to Ithaca.
Dream currently sat on the edge of the water, legs cooling in the cold ocean when a flash of purple escaped the water just in front of him, wrapping around him in the best hug their tiny body could make.
“Purple?” He questioned, freezing when he heard sniffles. “Hey, what’s wrong?” He asked, carefully cradling the smaller as best as he could.
Purple didn’t say anything, burying their face into his chest. Dream held them close, making quiet noises.
“Dream, it's getting late, we need to head inside-” George spoke before spotting Purple.
“What-” “Do you want something to eat?” Dream asked Purple, who was taking up his entire lap.
Purple nodded into his chest. “Hey George, can you go see if there’s any raw fish?” Dream asked. The king nodded and turned back to the castle.
Dream sat like this for a while, running a hand through Purple’s hair and rubbing their back.
“Do the other two know you’re here?” He asked gently. Purple nodded. “Did something happen between you three?” Purple shook their head. “Do you want to talk about it?” He asked. Purple shook their head furiously.
“Hey, it’s okay, you’re okay.” Dream whispered. Purple seemed to just melt into his touch, seemingly calmed down just a bit.
George came running back moments later with a plate of raw fish, setting it carefully beside Dream. “Thank you. Want to join us?” He asked. His husband nodded, taking a seat next to him.
The three sat in silence–interrupted occasionally by Purple’s sniffles–as they watched the sun set over the ocean.
He watched the water ripple as Blue and Orange slowly peeked out of the ocean to avoid being seen.
“They’re here for you.” Dream whispered to Purple, who nodded and finally let go.
Purple stared at Dream as they dove back into the ocean, swimming as fast as they could to join the other two. Blue turned to scoop up Purple as Orange nodded to the human.
“You do not have to bring us prey anymore. We will let you pass without gifts, as a show of our gratitude.” Orange spoke. Dream smiled and nodded.
He waved to the three as they left, leaning against George. “Come on, you’re drenched. Let’s get you a change of clothes.
