Same in French! (That’s what I speak) Default neutral gender is male, I’m not sure about the ‘positive’ connotation of female words though cause all that’s popping up in my head right now is ‘table’. :I

in spanish many words like 'strength' are female words. Wisdom is also a female word. Depression for example is a male word, funny enough. I guess I mean many words that are female words about good or positive things or concepts. :| wonder why XD

Let’s not forget French too. And German (though it has a neutral gender too). And plenty of other languages.

There are a ton of languages out there that would have an incredible problem with that, we have a 'neutral' that's not really that neutral because both default to male, but words are interchangeable in gender assignation. It's kind of notable many 'female' words in spanish tend to have very positive connotations

I can play Kingdoms of Amalur pretty well for hours and the fan takes that pretty well.
