right so I have this jaw thing where often I wake up and I can't physically open my mouth very wide because grinding my teeth in my sleep fucks up one of the mandibular joints to the point where I feel like if I move it too far, it will snap it in half (often makes eating and yawning and talking a bit of a problem) This morning I found out that, as I was desperately trying to chug some cough syrup and get a drink, I will not break my jaw if I open my mouth past that point of resistance. Instead it will just be incredibly painful and make a godawful somehow moist bone crunching sound right next to my ear as if something had broken, and still continue being a pain in the ass
