It’s weird y’know I realised the other day that my mum doesn’t really remember much from my childhood whereas she remembers lots from when my brother was little. and that made me weepy =/
me and my mom had the same childhood (she was a teen mom) which is weird and bittersweet and mostly just surreal. mercifully she realizes that as much as i do so this photo album is 1/2 family pics and 1/2 pics of my cat, bless
is your brother older? :c

REALLY? O__O Oh God, I love him so much, I'd sell my soul to have the chance to meet him (though probably I would end up being unable to speak!)

I actually find it a bit annoying so I always skip it! .-.
Thanks guys, it means a lot to me to read your messages <3
I've had about a day now to reflect on losing Barnaby and while I still feel pretty sad, I'm also glad that she's at peace now and that her decline was quicker than Thelma's because it didn't stretch her suffering out.
With Thelma, I nursed her for a good few weeks, syringe feeding her food and water every hour or so until the time came. Barnaby was eating, drinking, clambering about, bruxing and following me about until the night before her decline. I'm really happy that she was still able to do all these things right up until the very end.
Another thing I'm glad about is that the vet used the correct method of euthanasia and so she went peacefully, knowing nothing about it. And after she'd passed on, they even offered to call me a taxi even though I'd said I only lived within ten minutes' walking distance. My vets rock!
I opted to walk, though. Gave me time to think and spared having a taxi driver see the carry case, ask what was inside and me having a breakdown or whatever. Plus the weather was gorgeous, and I know this probably sounds weird but when the sun shone it felt kinda like Barnaby was shining with it.
Work afterwards sucked though. Putting on a brave face for six hours was not fun, and the hours dragged as well.
But yeah, I'm gonna start putting a post together now to commemorate her.
