This is half-joking-half-serious, but are there slots open for the Hands?

Nope. This is simply because that since the Hands have massive amount of power canonally in the series, and also control the setting and happenings around the campus -- the latter only to a certain degree, but still. Master Hand and Crazy Hand are deeply attached to the lore of the campus, so allowing just a regular member to play them and not a mod would open ourselves to complications and make the Campus harder to manipulate for story purposes -- such as Events and things.
