New mods!
The group isn’t quite ready to be up and running just yet, but we got two new mods that will help us pick up the pace on getting this group ready! Let’s all welcome Royal Ninja mod and Robotic Operating Mod! Go learn about them on the mod page.
With that said, we have the group almost ready for launch. We still got a ton of work to do, but whenever we finish the necessities, it’s gonna be open. Thank you for your patience!

Heyo! HC Mod here! Just a brief update on how we’re coming along!
>If you haven’t already, go ahead and follow smash-nation! The updates here are gonna get scarce, so follow us over there, and make sure your fellow muns know to follow the blog too!
>Please send us questions (to this blog) if you’re stumped, and READ EVERYTHING! (on the other blog) The new setup is going to be a lot bigger, and therefore a lot more confusing. This also means that reading all the stuff on smash-nations’ blog is going to work in your favor; there are some goodies you can learn only through reading or asking questions!
>We need your help! We’ve run into a predicament. Long story short, Smashers are getting a special exclusive room for rp scenarios, but Support characters don’t have one right now. We know this is pretty unfair, so we want your thoughts on what support characters could have! We’re ruling out (not including) a bar/cafe, bathhouse, pool, or fitness room as possibilities for this, so with that in mind, tell us what you think:

Smash Campus Update!
Hey gang! HC Mod here! Sorry for the relative lack of updates and generally being vague about the status of the rp group. It shall continue no longer; it’s time for action! So if you’re part of Super Smash Campus; you’re gonna wanna read this!
1.) You can find the new rp blog here! It’s still under renovation, but we’ll need you to follow it if you want to continue rping with us.
2.) If you can do is a huge favor and signal boost this so your fellow members can see, we’d really appreciate it!
I’ll try to give updates on the rp groups status as time progresses, and if you guys have any questions, feel free to drop them in the sscampus inbox!
Usually I don’t get soppy or anything, but I wanted to formally apologize to all of you concerning the end of sscampus; I wish I could do something to prevent it, but unfortunately even being a moderator cannot give me that power.
It has been a massive pleasure working as a moderator for all of you, and I hope you know that just working with you guys was enough to bring a smile to my face. I feel as though I failed you as a moderator for not doing more to keep the group going, and I wish I could have done many things differently. It’s extremely bittersweet for me, because as excited as I am for the new group, --which you guys will get more details on later-- this was the first place I really felt at home. I never would’ve started rping on tumblr if sscampus didn’t exist...heck, I don’t think I would’ve started rping at all. I’m excited, but also incredibly nervous and worried; I hope that you’ll have me as a moderator in the future.
I know it’s kinda silly to say three paragraphs in that I want to be brief, but there are only a few quick things I wanna say before I finish this.
The RP Group is not ending; Smash Campus is. If you need to keep yourself calm, think of it as mass-remodeling; there’s going to be a new blog, and lots of other new things, so don’t go thinking this is the end. This is a rough patch, but there are good things to come.
This will NOT be the end of my rping career by any means. If you’re worried about this meaning that starboundknight will be ending, then you can put those worries to rest. If anything Meta knight’s just a little busy packing. He’s not going to stop being the bat-winged ball of sass he is, and you know what? He’s not too busy to chat with you guys while he’s getting ready. If you need reassurance, or even if you’re just down on yourself, he’s got his ask box open.
I’ll be around, and I hope that I can be of service to you whenever you need it; I had a wonderful time for the duration of my career as a mod in sscampus, and I want to thank everyone for giving it to me.
Stay Top-Tier Tough; things will be bright again soon.

Announcement - The End of Super Smash Campus.
Hey, guys. S Rank Mod, aka Sonic here. I’ve got some… relatively bad news, but it’s not all bad. If you’ve read the title, you know what I’m gonna say. And it’s true.
Super Smash Campus ends here.
It was fun while it lasted, and I’m actually really proud of how many people joined and how many people still want to stay, and you guys really brought this place to life. I didn’t know many of you before this – that says something about how many of you joined in the fun!
This group lasted nearly a year. There were some hiccups here and there but we can’t say we didn’t have a good time. Y’know?
Don’t get upset though, in spirit, it’ll live on. The other mods are going to make a new Smash Bros RP group. Just not with me behind them as a mod.
This blog will stay around AS AN ARCHIVE and will no longer be taking applications. If anyone wishes to join, please wait until the new group is established and accepting applications.
Who knows, you might see me in the new group, you might not.

How do you feel about the DLC that just rolled out?
Not sure about the other mods, but I’ve been pretty excited. I was a Roy main in Melee and a Lucas main in Brawl so that’s made me very happy! Also excited to see some new characters being added to the roster. It’s really keeping the hype for the game going. Haha!
