since i'm completely erasing srIV from my rewrite's timeline and going straight to the Reboot, i am free to let shaundi and viola explode during the events of sr3 if i so choose :p depends on whether or not i want to give axel a happy-ish ending or let him suffer more idk.

also gave me the idea of Shaundi spending six months in rehab after SR2 and that's why she's clean in SR3.

"he didn't look like a saint" - viola, despite seeing axel wearing all purple and his fluer-de-lis tattoo and knowing full well that he is a wanted criminal with a bounty on his head for gang-banging with the Saints.

i've been playing a lot of DREDGE lately and i love it. so why not draw axel as a fisherman. idk how good the fishing scene is in Stilwater. the fish are probably all irradiated abominations by SR2 lmao.

also the bottom left corner isn't Saints Row related that's for a different OC (he's the same character just in a different franchise that i shall not name due to its infamy 😭)

Short descriptions of my Saints Row OCs from my Saints Row: Blood and Chains universe. The prevalent ones in the story, anyway.

OCs for the Huang Clan and possibly the Dukes are some I might draw in the future.

If it's difficult to read I'll transcribe them down below:

Victoria Narvaez

Ex-DEA agent and undercover cop. She was charged with homicide during her time undercover with the Saints, and was promptly fired and imprisoned. She later becomes the leader of the Saints when her brother steps down.

Antonio Narvaez

Leader of the 3rd Street Saints. Post SR2, Antonio leaves to become an Enforcer in the Stilwater Triad gang, "Huang Clan." Antonio is later killed by a Russian Mafiya family known as "The Novikov Family."

Martin "Marty" Davis

The Twins' cousin hailing from London. Ran an Antifa Group before getting arrested and bailed out of prison by Victoria and Axel. He then joined the Saints.

Axel Striker

The 2nd in command for the Saints, alongside Johnny Gat. Originally a member of the Huang Clan as an enforcer, he ends up forming a long-lasting partnership between the two power players of Stilwater. He is supposed to inherit the Saints as per Antonio's wishes, but is sent to rehabilitation and Victoria takes his position of Leader.

Stephanie "Steph" Lauren

A famous RnB singer that was signed to Kingdom Come Records before its downfall. She was a member of the Vice Kings and after their wipe out, fled Stilwater to go back to London. She comes back to form "The Dukes," and eventually builds an organised syndicate of her own uniting the Dukes, The Saints and The Huang Clan.

Fabien

Morningstar specialist that is a terrific shot. He only got his job and is able to keep it because he is a family friend of Philipe Loren. He frequently sold Syndicate data to the Russian, Chinese and American governments. He later helps the Saints against Killbane.

i've torn down my fic and rebuilt it so many times lol the writing process is always fun.

Right now i'm drafting an idea for Axel believing Julius was framed for the boat, and he chases down Dex as a lead. Unfortunately for this mystery, i have not yet chosen a conclusion meaning I cant write the middle yet (wanna write it backwards since its a mystery iykwim.) i genuinely dont know who it could be. maybe ultor? some other corp? someone political? i'll figure it out.

i'm also only focusing on the first two games timeframe for now, throwing in the 3rd, 4th and Reboot would actually fry my synapses, so I can REALLY try to flesh out the base ideas I had for 1&2. I don't want to stray too far from the canon (minus the mystery goose chase and dex storyline) since i like what was being set up and i think it could all be explored much more.

of course i also need to get to playing the SR2 DLCs cause more story content yay! but ive been holding off on that because my Xenia save for SR2 is like fresh and the activities give me a haemorrhage. and i can only use a PS4 controller because my Xbox controller acts up a lil bit (also aesthetically and ergonomically the playstation controller is better for me) so the button prompts get me a lil confused. i know theres mousehook for SR2 but the keybinds are jank and i own a controller that i bought just to play Skull Girls, Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter so why not use it.
