Little battle theme I made for Sani! It was attempt to reuse a melody in a way that created a different tone to it so I took the midi from the original theme and messed with it to make my first attempt at a battle track!

Little battle theme I made for Sani! It was attempt to reuse a melody in a way that created a different tone to it so I took the midi from the original theme and messed with it to make my first attempt at a battle track!
So a couple of my friends and I have this little learning group going. Essentially we help each other stay motivated as we all take our first steps with learning how to compose music! A long time ago I tried the FL studio demo but never really felt like I was in a good place to learn until now. This is the first time I think I’ve made something since we’ve started that feels like a full song which was actually the point of our little challenge this was made for. At any rate I’m really happy with it because this is something I’ve wanted to learn for a really long time! Of course I’m still super duper early in with learning music theory stuff and not a whole lot of time has been spent doing this yet, but I’m excited to be learning something I’ve been so enamored with for a really long time. So yep, here’s a little thing I’ve been doing on top of art!
Frick, I made something I really like by flailing about with random notes which means god help me if I want to do something like this again but on purpose :’V

I'm sorry all of this music is like pmd-u related and that I'm making music at all but it's really relaxing. I'll make some for my other pmd guys I swear, but nothing I've made randomly really fits the other guys.I can only looks at sai so long before this headache becomes unbearable and the dark interface of fl doesn't bother me so much :T this flu bug stinks

I keep messing around with this music program every now and then and it sort of feels like I'm learning how to draw all over again! I still get lost in the program and I don't know how to put anything together or tweak it to make it a certain way! Just like when I first started doing digital art. I wish I could do this with a 3d modeling program but that program is way over my head. Not quite music yet still kind of ambient
