The autonomous flirting between these two continues.
As a player I tend to like to allow my sims to make choices for themselves as much as possible. Including deciding if/when they get engaged and married. Sometimes it can take a while, sometimes it never happens and all but Currant here surprised me by rolling a whim to get engaged to Magnolia while they were on their date together.
Mags had to go to work in a few hours but there was just enough time (and they were near a perfect location) to sneak it in before I had to send them both home.
