Sloane was Sophia’s roommate in college. The two of them were best friends, and Sloane was there for her through a lot of tough times - including her husband’s deployments. However, when Sloane kissed Sophia one evening, it came as a complete shock for her. She was married, and River was on a deployment, and she couldn’t do that to him. By the time she recognized how she felt, Sloane was gone. When she moved to New York herself, she showed up on Sloane’s doorstep and stayed with her until she found her footing, though they’ve never discussed Sophia’s feelings, which has put a strain on their friendship in the time since she moved out.
Current Storyline
Kind of winging it, but we mentioned an argument since Sophia, specifically, is wound up tight about what happened between them. So, we’ll see. Maybe a past-present.
