hddjjdkfkkdkfjskfkg unlocked the next chapter of surviving romance, immediately stepped on another rake as the author apparently remembered the evil lesbian character they wrote into the cast that hasn’t been relevant for like 15 chapters

ok. ok. transmigrator into main character of romance novel is in a death loop for 400+ days and has given up on life but she’s saved by a (female) extra one loop which renews her will to live but she’s literally unable to see extras so now she has to try and figure out who she’s imprinted on. I do like this concept.

surviving romance hits this. very specific venn diagram that is making me go feral. My brain is latching into the narrative constraints/post-narrative terror a la into the woods & pippin (kind of orv too), and the impact One Person can have (+ the singleminded determination to reach them) a la orv & tgcf. I am connecting many dots across completely unrelated media that have no business being set next to each other.

I caved and bought the rest of surviving romance and this bit was really good. however just like every other time I’ve caved and bought early access chapters to this series specifically I immediately stepped into a rake laid out by the writer. this time it’s the looming threat of het tax.
