Character Name: Anthony Rydinger Occupation: Tavern Boy Magick Status: Mundus Biography:

Orphaned at a young age, Anthony Rydinger didn’t have much in the way of parentage. No schooling, no business to inherit, he resorted to begging for money (and often stealing) until he met Flynn Rider. Anthony certainly didn’t appreciate the help straight away, distrusting the older man’s intentions, but when he offered up a warm(ish) bed and a job to make some money for himself he couldn’t turn it down.

Now he works at the tavern, earning his keep. This is not to say that Anthony has dropped his mischievous ways. On the contrary, Anthony continues to pickpocket and schmooze people for information (although he’s told not to steal while inside the tavern to protect business).

Flynn’s a relatively good teacher but Anthony certainly has a lot to learn about navigating in polite society.

Character Name: Mirai "Riley" Anderson Title/Occupation: Visiting Noble (Lory) from Arcadia's High Court Magick Status: Celestial Elf (Out) Biography: Mortal politics were so amusing to the Fae and the Seelie Courts were no different in that regard. It seemed so trivial, especially for lives that only burned so long, but Mirai was fascinated nonetheless. They had heard of this mortal occasion called the "Season" and decided that they wanted to witness it for themselves. Their family waved their hands at their child's silly desires, assuming the adolescent elf would eventually tire themselves out of this fixation on mortals. The youths tended toward the ridiculous, after all, and Zaniah was a patient mother. Taking on the human name "Riley Anderson" (they'd read up on mortal naming conventions), Mirai also took an entourage of servants to England with them. They weren't bothering to hide either their Magick Status or their social one but the name they wanted to test out. While they would not partake in the season themselves they were excited to watch and learn from those around them. Now just to wait for the games to begin!

Nick’s a relatively good teacher but Anthony certainly has a lot to learn about navigating in polite society. A few years ago he met a young noble during a season. Anthony thought he might've made a connection and was sadly mistaken. He kicked himself for the mistake and dove deeper still into his cons. Someone's come back into town, however, and Anthony is starting to question his own convictions.

Character Name: Scott Tavish Richards Occupation: Lawyer Sponsor: Captain Wolfgang Amadeus Magick Status: Werewolf (Secret) Biography:  Scott Richards wasn't some royal member of the world by any means but he'd grown up with enough means to be here for the season. His father was a distinguished Navy man, stern and set in his ways. Scott was raised with a firm hand and yet he still harbored a burning desire for adventure. Scott was happy to stand off to the side while his three sisters went through their seasons, happy to avoid the whole mess of it. There were many rules, many intentions that had to be delicately weighed to get one where they wished to go. He didn't envy them as they found partners but he was happy for them. While he didn't go into the military like his father he did become a lawyer to help aid his station. It gave him enough money to live a more thrilling life than he'd otherwise have afforded. The freedom he'd been afforded was short-lived, however, as now that his sisters were all taken care of his father was more than happy to send his youngest child off to be married. Scott hadn't argued, knowing the day would come eventually. Unlike his sisters, however, he was not to be accompanied by his father but his father's old Navy colleague Captain Wolfgang Amadeus. He's hoping to make a good impression both with the other candidates this season and with Captain Amadeus. He can't afford to embarrass anyone!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Scott isn't in the actual Match Pool but I really wanted to dive into him more by completing that profile so that will be below the cut.

Character Name: Martin Alvaro Ambrosius Title: Duke / Miriam's Sponsor Magick Status: Sorcerer (Animation Specialty) Biography: Duke Martin Alvaro Ambrosius had thought all this season business was behind him. A few years prior he'd established his own match in Renard! Sure, he'd married beneath his station in a military member but that was no matter! A duke such as himself didn't have that many options of marrying up anyway and besides, he was the heir to the title. No one could object to his marriage except himself and his younger sister! Then last year his sister had found a match! It had been lovely! Until, of course, it wasn't. Miriam's connection had been severed unexpectedly and while he certainly wanted to support her the ease of his life he'd began to accept since her season had ended had fizzled out and back into stress over finding his sister a new match. Now it's Miriam's second season and he's not afraid to pull out all the stops! Especially since Renard was helping their own candidate! He just hopes that they won't face an embarrassment again. The rumor mill can be so cruel!
