A/N: This is inspired by Mystic Messenger and just other games in general- Since Cherry Bomb had kind of game theme to it I thought it would be an interesting concept^^ [gif not mine by the way]
Also... I’m sorry I’m late actually... Some stuff came up and a person I really didn’t want to see showed up and ugh just an annoying night, so this is an hour late... :/

“You’re not going home?”
You glanced up from your book, awkwardly avoiding your roommate’s gaze.
“No…”
“So, you’re just going to spend all of break and the holidays at school?”
“Yeah,” you murmured, closing your book sheepishly, “Don’t worry, I’ll be fine-”
Her soft lips drew into a solemn frown.
“I hear Canada has superb syrup,” you began, grinning teasingly.
“Maybe you’ll get some for your birthday,” she crooned, zipping her suitcase swiftly.
You spread your arms, inviting her in for a final embrace. She giggled before draping her arms around your shoulders.
“I’ll be back in two weeks,” she promised, giving you a sudden squeeze.
“I’ll count the days,” you jested, chuckling gently.
You watched as she collected her belongings before opening the door.
“No boys!” she hollered, narrowing her gaze as she peered at you through the doorway.
Your cheeks flushed at her accusatory tone, “I-I would never!” you retorted.
She sent you a final charming smile before disappearing, her luggage in tow.
The dorm was bathed in a golden hue as the setting sun gleamed in the distance. You sighed, closing your book obnoxiously; it was vacation. Bored, you fiddled with your phone, scrolls past the endless updates and posts from your friends as they left campus to return home for the holidays. Your gaze fell upon a colorful ad, your chest seizing in anguish as you read the cursive scrawled along the electronic banner.
‘Find True Love!’
You sighed to yourself, your thoughts drowning themselves in lonesomeness. You wanted to push your sudden emotions aside, your finger hovering over the glaring screen in temptation.
“Fuck it-” you murmured, rolling onto your back.
If you couldn’t have a real boyfriend you could at least have a fake one. You persuaded yourself it was harmless. Your glassy gaze reflected the bright bursts of color upon your screen, a fanfare blaring obnoxiously. You began the simulation, rolling your eyes at the cliché responses offered to you.
Suddenly, your phone rang. You scrambled, quickly answering the call.
“It’s been a while-”
“Who-”
You were interrupted, bewilderment coursing through you as you listened to their words.
“I missed your soft voice-”
You drew the phone from your ear, sighing to yourself in exasperation when you noticed it was a simulation from the application. You smiled to yourself as you saw Taeyong’s icon, you were already beginning to favor him over the other characters.
“Did you eat?”
You recalled this evening, you had yet to eat-
“(Y/n)?”
It was almost as if he were awaiting a response.
“N-Not yet…” you murmured.
“Eat well~ Your so thin these days... I worry...”
His voice was soothing, a deep croon of adoration-
You felt foolish, muttering to yourself to quell your flushing cheeks. You ended the brief call, quickly snatching the tokens offered.
The display changed, asking you to turn on your location services before continuing. It was an odd request, but you agreed. The display changed once more, asking you to select a suitor. Flustered by the sudden decision, you fretted to yourself quietly, unsure of which man to choose...
