HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! (Here be FengQing oneshot outline!)
Happy new year, fellow tumblers!
Here's to a good new year and hoping that we don't die.
With that being said, here be the outline of a FengQing New Year's Eve oneshot that I will flesh out, soon!
Mu Qing is standing alone on a balcony, looking up at the sky and thinking about his mom back in China and how he can't spend New Year's Eve with her. He looks at his phone where his mom has sent him messages wishing him a happy new year and cries a little but tries to hold back the tears.
Feng Xin (his roomie) shows up and Mu Qing asks him why he's there.
Mu Qing asks him why he's there and Feng Xin replies that he's gotten a bit sick of the New Year's party going on.
Mu Qing gives a bit of snarky commentary on the matter and Feng Xin opens his mouth to respond but doesn't in the end.
Mu Qing shivers and Feng Xin gives him his jacket and the other cup of tea. (BTW he has that)
Mu Qing won't accept the jacket at first but Feng Xin forces him to wear it anyways and Mu Qing is a lot warmer and more comfortable in the jacket.
Feng Xin then notices that Mu Qing's eyes are a little red and there are tear tracks running dow his face.
He asks what's wrong and Mu Qing tries to wipe away the tears forming in his eyes.
This does not work and Feng Xin notices it pretty quickly cause it is obvious as hell.
Feng Xin tries to get Mu Qing to talk about it but since Mu Qing is stupid and won't let people in, he starts trying to deflect the question.
Feng Xin won't stop asking about it so Mu Qing gives up trying to deflect him or change the subject and just tells him that he misses his mom and is sad that he can't visit her.
He expects Feng Xin to laugh at him about this but he doesn't and instead wraps Mu Qing in a hug.
Mu Qing is startled at first but melts into the hug cause this ain't a fluffy oneshot for nothing ya know.
He cries a bit, and Feng Xin notices and tells him that it's okay to miss his mom and open up and talk to people about it.
Mu Qing smiles at that, which makes Feng Xin's heart leap cause this ain't a fucking FengQing oneshot for nothing ya know.
Feng Xin and Mu Qing get real close and the countdown’s starting and basically it's a confession scene! Who knew?
Mu Qing tells Feng Xin that he has something to tell him and Feng Xin asks what and it’s obvious
Mu Qing takes a deep breath and starts talking as the countdown goes on the in the background and basically he tells Feng Xin that he’s had a crush on him since… idk like 8th grade and wants to kiss him.
Unsurprisingly, Feng Xin accepts his confession and they kiss right at the last number and basically tells him happy new year and kisses him again as fireworks go off in the background, very aesthetically pleasing and romantic. Might draw.
