I’m deep in the project Hail Mary x iron lung trenches but I just thought of a really cool potential crossover….
With the SS Daedalus from The Magnus Archives
Instead of making it back to earth, the Daedalus (more specifically, ONLY Carter Chilcott when the Earth disappears from view) turns up directly in front of the Hail Mary somewhere between Tau Ceti and Erid, and Grace realises that this is…. A space station. From Earth. More specifically, it seems to be /half/ a space station, as if the other half has been torn away, and it /wasn’t there a moment ago/.
I just think that grace finding carter deep into his “isolation study” could be a really cool idea
