Just need to say I binged your story last night and stayed up reading until 1am. Really love your character work so far. Lex especially got me feeling some kinda way.

What type of stories have you been enjoying recently? Do you have any recommendations (books, IFs, games, shows, etc)?

On one hand, I feel a little bad that you stayed up so late, but on the other, I'm really happy that the story was interesting enough to be the reason for it [though please try to avoid doing that! I want my readers to be well-rested and healthy].

I'd love to share my favorite IFs, but the rest will be below the line since I don't think many people will find something unrelated to IFs on my blog particularly interesting.

IFs:

I'm a very picky reader [which is basically why I started writing my own IF, haha], but these are some of my favorites that I'm currently keeping an eye on: - The Porthecrawl Witness by @porthecrawl-witness - The Abyssal Song by @ri-writes-if - Love After Death by @loveafterdeath-if - Bladeweaver by @bladeweaver-if - Keeper Series by @keeperofthesunandmoon - God Cursed by @wings-of-ink - Weeping Gods by @jcollinswrites - The Lost Bride by @thelostbride-if - Cantata by @fir-fireweed There are plenty of other great IFs that I haven't mentioned, but these are the first ones that came to mind.

Books:

I must admit, I haven't read much lately aside from IFs, even though there was a period in my life when I'd buy and binge-read as many books as possible. But if I had to name one book I'd love to reread again, it would definitely be "The Count of Monte Cristo". I still remember my excitement and the constant need to know what would happen next with every page I read.

Games:

My absolute favorites are: - Dragon Age Inquisition [I prefer it over Origins]. - Mass Effect [1-3]. - Fire Emblem Three Houses. - Fire Emblem Fates. - Rune Factory 4 & 5. - Divinity: Original Sin 2. - Stardew Valley. - The Dog Island [PS2].

TV shows:

When it comes to TV shows, I watch too few to confidently recommend any, but many elements in my IF were inspired by Charmed, Dark, and The Vampire Diaries.

Anime & Manga:

I actually prefer manga over anime. My absolute favorite, which I reread every year, is "Nana". It's a huge source of inspiration for me when it comes to writing realistic, complex characters and the relationships between them. I also really enjoyed "Demon Slayer", so I definitely recommend it!
