( INFORMATION ) collectors are easily considered to be the wisest of the hunter groups. Most are rare, and thus when encountered tend to be kept in a pocket for most other hunters to use when needed. They were once coveted as an invaluable resource before the days of the internet, seeing as they seemed to have information on everyone or anything. Of course one would think that in a day and age of technology their services would no longer be needed. But the internet can only do so much, and having contacts is sometimes far more useful in this line of work. INFORMATION collectors are known for their ability to seem to know everyone and everything, they have more contacts and source material for the supernatural than they should, tend to be able to see how a hunt will go the minute they find out about it. But while they pride themselves on knowing quite a bit about their world, they also keep up with the events of the ‘normal’ world, having contacts in all of life is important. Information is important.
The INFORMATION collectors tend to have piles and piles of information, and thus will most likely stay at one place and operate out of a solid base, unlike most hunters that move from place to place, these hunters have to work hard to keep things out of their way and thus have been known to find cases and send them along to other hunters in order to be able to keep collecting, researching and finding INFORMATION. None of which comes easy int his line of work. They however are not meant to be confused with Research Hunters, whom are more open to helping those in need and are known to be active in the field. Information collectors are known to give INFORMATION but it is usually upon trade. The hunters receiving the INFORMATION must also give something in return... well... for the most part.
