SECOND STAR 2ND JAPANESE RELEASE: RE:WRITE
Known for their strong rebellious image, Korea’s train-wreck band came back on March 20th by secretly releasing the music video for a Japanese track titled After Dark. The band SECOND STAR (Jae Kim, Wan, Kim Hyunwoo, K, Teddy Han and Lee Takuya) is the youngest project at BB Entertainment and quickly became one of the countries most well known rookies their year of debut. This is their first release of 2015, quickly released after label-mate’s K8′s comeback making the top songs of March all belong to BB Entertainment despite Second Star’s track being in Japanese. The video took a few days before gaining attention as fans slowly started to realize that the company had released the music video. The song like much of their music has a very rock feel to it.
SECOND STAR’s second Japanese release RE:WRITE was released on March 25th, again with no warning from BB Entertainment. The album has a total of 5 tracks, including title track Re:Write (written by one of the most famous song writers under BB Entertainment) and pre-released track After Dark (released on March 20th). Most tracks were composed by various songwriters and artists under label BB Entertainment with the exception of Neverland which was written with input from various members of SECOND STAR themselves.
The music video for Re:Write is rumored to be released soon, the band’s concept for this album will be based off the music video for Re:Write and has been hinted at being something related to steampunk. With such a big mysterious album strategy that BB Entertainment is using to release SECOND STAR’s newest album Starlights are starting to wonder if this means that the popular band is getting ready for another Japanese mini-tour like the one they had last August.
