Simvivor Season 1 - Episode 8
Trabaka:
Upon the return from tribal, Lucinda is extremely upset at the loss of her friend, very angrily cutting herself off from the rest of the tribe except for Mo.
Ashley is still furious from being called out by Miles, bad-mouthing him now to Tony. Mo overhears this and starts into a fight with Ashley, stating she is "evil" for what she did.
Tony offers support to Ashley throughout this, stating in confessional that he needs to mend the tribe now in case of a merge and therefore can't be holding grudges.
Tony goes to apologise to Lucinda who instantly cuts him down, telling him that the apology he offers is insincere and not accepted.
Sereda:
There is a general discomfort towards Jackie in the tribe, with the other three not really offering her much in terms of socialisation.
Jackie therefore becomes more secluded, spending a lot of her time alone and waiting desperately for a merge.
Meanwhile, Alfred really begins to form close relations with Zeke and Sunshine; the three very much becoming a tight-knit group.
The Merge:
A feast was held in honor of both tribes making the merge segment of the game, with both meeting at the challenge point for food and agreement to stay at Trabaka's camp.
At first both tribes keep very much to their own social groups and it isn't until Tony begins a conversation with Zeke that the group really begin to break down barriers.
Ashley doesn't appreciate a look given to her by Jackie and so smirks whilst asking about the whereabouts of Monty. This enrages Jackie who instantly starts a fight with Ashley, both girls having to be pulled apart by their seperate tribes.
Mo and Lucinda spend most of the feast with each other, not really wanting to bother so much with the other tribe due to Trabaka having more numbers and therefore supposed more safety.
Tony feel slightly embarrassed by how standoffish his tribe seems to be, awkwardly apologising to Zeke and Sunshine. They both seem understanding, but thank Tony for not completely shunning them just because they don't have the numbers.
Immunity Challenge: Save It!
Each castaway must compete in a penalty shootout against a famous local footballer. The castaway that can score/save the most goals in total without missing wins immunity.
Tony, Blake and Ashley all miss their first goal and score 0.
Mo and Lucinda prove to be good at scoring but not at saving, scoring 1.
Jackie didn't have the speed when kicking the ball, scoring 2.
Alfred played fairly well, but dove the wrong way, scoring 3.
Sunshine developed quite a steady rhythm, totaling 6.
However Zeke proved to be a keen footballer before the game and scored an impressive 8 goals!
Winner - Zeke - 6 Hours at the Resort with 2 castaways of his choice, he chose Sunshine and Alfred. However, this came with a cost and so someone was also sent to exile, that being Lucinda.
Tribal Council:
Upon returning to camp, Blake is very much pushing for the idea of Trabaka to stay together. Ashley claims she'll agree, provided they vote out Jackie, with Blake reluctantly agreeing to this as he really wants the 5 to stay strong.
Before the others return, Jackie begins to heckle Ashley for the way she acts around her. Mo finds this mildly amusing as it's nice to see Ashley receive some of her own medicine.
When the others return, the reward winners appear to feel very refreshed which makes some of the others jealous. This particularly occurs when Alfred boasts about all the luxuries he received whilst the tribe cook dinner, irritating Mo particularly who eventually marches off.
Blake suggests that Tony tell Lucinda about the voting as a tribe idea in order to mend the bridge which the two had previously broken last tribal.
However Tony fails to tell Lucinda this and instead talks more to Sunshine and Zeke who tell Tony that they will vote however he wants them to if he can provide them with more time on the Island. He seems open to this offer and tells them Lucinda has caused trouble in the past and will do again.
Jackie thought she would find comfort in the other tribe, approaching Mo for an alliance so that she could flip on her previous tribe. However Mo seems very unresponsive, allowing Jackie to realise she is once again on her own.
The Votes:
First vote for…. Ashley.
Second vote for…. Mo.
Third vote for…. Tony.
Fourth vote for…. Lucinda.
Fifth vote for.... Alfred.
Sixth vote for.... Jackie.
Seventh vote for.... Jackie.
Eighty vote for.... Lucinda.
Ninth vote and the first member of our jury... Lucinda.
The tribe has spoken.
Sunshine, Zeke and Tony voted for Lucinda.
Blake and Ashley voted for Jackie.
Jackie voted for Ashley.
Lucinda voted for Tony.
Mo voted for Alfred.
Alfred voted for Mo.
