sansan happy 80s/90s au where sansa loves flowers and hipster music and is playing tetris in an arcade and sandor is the owner of the arcade and he sees her every day after school and u figure out the rest

“Aren’t you a little old to be in here?”

Sansa turned and looked at the man who’d spoken. He was tall and black-haired with a chin full of stubble and a big nasty scar on his face. She thought for a second to ask how he’d gotten it, but decided not to because that would be rude.

“You look older than me, and you’re in here.” She replied, ripping open another pixie stick and popping the end in her mouth.

His mouth formed a thin line. “I own this place.”

“Really? I’ve never seen you in here.” She turned back to her game. She could easily pay attention to it and speak at the same time.

“I really only come here to get my cut of the money.” He grumbled.

“Then why are you bugging me about being too old to be in here?”

He didn’t answer that. “I heard you have the high score on that thing.”

“Mhm, sure do.” She grinned as she won the final level and leaned back against the machine to speak to him.

“I heard you come in here nearly every damn day.”

“That’s true too.” She dumped the rest of the pixie stick in her mouth and jammed the empty straw into her pocket.

“Don’t you have better things to do? Like a job or school or something?”

“Not really. Not right now. I like to come here. It reminds me of being a kid.” She stuck her hand out to him. “My name is Sansa, by the way.”

He stared at her hand for a second before taking it. “Sandor.”

“Wanna get a slice of pizza with me?” She asked him. “The place next door will give you a slice for about a dollar. You can keep interrogating me of you want.”

He made a face. “I guess so. I mean, I’m hungry, is all.”

She laughed. “Alright, come on.”

When they sat at the booth across from each other and he was shoving pizza in his mouth, she asked him “So why did you come bother me anyway?”

“You looked out of place.”

“How?”

“I dunno. You’re, what, nineteen or twenty years old? A pretty young woman in a poorly lit room filled with smelly twelve year old boys. It’s weird. You stuck out.”

She blushed. “You think I’m pretty?”

“I never said that.” He scowled.

“You did, just now.” She insisted. “Well, if it means anything, I’m flattered and I thank you for the compliment. And when I first came to the arcade, I came with my little sister, who may as well be one of those smelly twelve year olds you mentioned before. She got sent away to boarding school, though. I miss her sometimes, and when I miss her, I visit the arcade and play the one game I was ever good at.”

“Oh.” He took another huge bite of his pizza and stayed quiet.

“You’re cool, you know.” She said, wiping the corner of her mouth with a napkin. “We could hang out sometime, if you want to.”

He stared down at his plate, his mouth tight. “I might be busy.”

“Well, if you’re ever not busy,” She pulled a pen out from her purse and grabbed his hand from across the table. She pulled it over and forced it open, writing her number on his palm in neat letters. “You can give me a call and we’ll hang out.”

He stared at his hand for a second before squeezing it shut. “Yeah, okay.”

“Well, I’ve got to go now.” She slung her purse around her shoulder and put her pen back. “It was nice talking to you.”

“Thank you.” He said, and she paused.

“For what?”

“For talking to me, and the food, and… the company.” He squeezed the hand with her phone number a little tigher, she saw.

“No problem.” She reached over and patted his hand. “I’ll be waiting on that phonecall.”

Favorite touristy thing to do when traveling (museums, local food, sightseeing, etc): point at local hotties, pet puppies, eat popsicles while chillin

Favorite kind of weather: when it’s raining men

A weird/obscure fear they have: a world without men, puppies, or sophie turner

The carnival/arcade game they always win without fail: strength tester
