i've been working on this since october when i first heard this song. truly one of the most heartbreaking, full of emotion songs i have ever heard. i wanted to pull a bunch of the literal imagery from the song along with the album teaser visual of her screaming into the ground to represent the grief being. well screamed into this cavern, where the grief (a silhouette of herself or even a representation of her daughter as mentioned in the opening of the song) can grow and evolve into its own sense of creation (the halo effect). like this figure is then turning these screams into music, much like florence herself

i am so glad to have finished this before going to closing night of the US tour, i'm hoping to be able to deliver a print to the merch table mailbox as a thank you for the past 15 years of loving her music. i've been trying to avoid "tour spoilers" lol but i have seen YCHIA and NLMG are swapped out between nights. i would be so grateful to see never let me go again as it is my all time favorite song, however i do think it would be my dream to hear you can have it all live. this song has moved me so much 🥺😭💕
