Coming back to this channel after a pretty long time! Exams and all, they drain your body and mind. No kidding, bro.
Anyway, I decided to audition for seoulstars, a charity organization for singers/rappers/dancers. Since the entire point of the program is to bring better days to those who aren't as fortune as us, I chose one the sweetest songs I know ㅋㅋ I hope you all enjoy it~ and go check them out!

The camera pans onto Daesung sitting on a wooden stool, dressed casually. The atmosphere is decidedly different from his early videos, where he tried to cover his visage as much as possible, or simply hid behind a lyrics slideshow. His straight posture radiates more confidence now and he flashes his usual warm smile; eyes crinkling as he raises a microphone to his full lips and begins to speak.
"Hi guys! This is Daesung, and I'm just going to repeat this for anyone that didn't read the description—"
His tone is playful as his eyes narrow, making a show of judging those who hadn't looked it over. As he continues, his unoccupied hand freely goes about waving and gesturing along to his words.
"Yeah, so, I'm recording this for Seoulstars, a group of artists who perform for a good cause— it's like, ah... volunteering, basically, and since it's a great way to get more experience performing while also brightening someone's day, I wanted to audition.... Ne, without anymore distractions, here's my cover of Best Man, by Wheesung."
He breathes out softly as the music turns on, starting to let his voice flow. The live recording picked up by the microphone is placed over the video's original sound, the slightest intake of air or vibration in his tone rendered audible.

Daesung had chosen the song for how easy and enjoyable it was for the audience to listen to and sing along. Seeing how his voice was noticeably higher than the original singer's, he had chosen to lose some of the husky tone and resort to a sweeter, lighter version, and his own lips part in a wide grin at it's happy vibe.

He follows the lyrics with his gestures, playfully dragging a finger under his full lower lip before bobbing his head along to the beat, leaning forward and flicking his wrist as the chorus starts, ad-libing where it could be permitted and furrowing his brows as he thins his voice in a high note.

As the music draws to a finish, he chances a wink and quickly reaches for the camera, covering the lens with his hand for a moment to black out the screen. Moments later the now empty stool is visible again, slightly out of focus, as Daesung's loud, awkward laughter rings out.
