IT growls angrily, row and rows of sharp teeth snapping and biting at the other. Dirty gloved hands digging into the ground and pulling as its feet dig in as well attempting to press in closer with all its force. Breaking the ground underneath them, IT determined to not lose. ITs large golden eyes flashing brighter than normally, the ‘skin’ around them seeming to crack as well. And there you could see the lights, just tiniest bit, causing a ray of light to be cast over the others face.

@s-seesghosts liked x for a deputy quote!
“you weren’t suppose to be here...” he had been drinking and thought that bill wouldn't have gotten back until later. he just needed time alone was all, but so much for that.
“I just need to sit-what do you mean I’m already laying down?”
“something’s telling me that you need more than just a sit down,” dep was already making his way to the other with a smirk forming upon his face. “if you need some sleep, you should get some. i’m not going anywhere.”
@s-seesghosts liked x for a starter!
he was tired, it was late in the afternoon and here he was still in this library looking up what he could about this god forsaken town. rubbing his eyes with his hand he thought that maybe getting some fresh air would be a good idea.
he’s been at this since early in the morning, thanks to the librarian who gave him the key to do some research--even being an ex-deputy had it’s perks it would seem. but for now he would get some stretches in at the front of the building, overlooking the town for a moment.
there was always something about this place that felt---dark. he couldn’t put it down in words how it made him feel but he was uneasy ever since he came to this place. but for now he would fiddle with the straps of his bag, taking in the scenery.

{~🍺 Being a detective is not the easiest job, you always seem to see what most don’t more times than anyone ever should. However, when it came to children, Sebastian never would get use to it. The people sick enough to abduct the murder children deserve to be treated the same way they treat their victims.
Of course his therapist says that’s not a healthy way to view it, that doesn’t stop him from doing so. Children are innocent, there is no reason to go after them, so when he catches this guy he will make him wish he never even thought about hurting a child.
Getting out of his car, Detective Sebastian Castellanos moves back to where the boy disappeared. Able to get a grasp on the situation without all the sirens, flashing lights and background chatter.
Lighting up a cigarette, he moves forward and flips his flash light on. moving it over the area where the boy was last seen. Wanting to see if there is anything they missed, anything that might open the door that brings them closer to the perpetrator.
Not having moved far from his car, he spots a small flicker of another flash light, raising a brow, the detective moves closer, hand on his pistol in case he has to use it and light held firmly in his fist.
“I am Detective Castellanos and this is crime scene! Unless you’re directly involved you are contaminating the area! Now come out...slowly and with your hands up.”
Gun held just under his flashlight, whiskey eyes narrowed and waits for the being to show their face. 🍺~}

It wasn’t uncommon for the kids to roam the neighborhoods alone on bikes or with friends. The community itself was always welcoming for them to explore and venture. Encouraging them to have a sense of adventure and keep active. Some folks even let them come and go as they please, some were kind enough to make sure they were fed and cared for.
Loretta was one of those individuals. She knew most of the children’s names as well as their parents, so she could ring them up when a problem starts. (She remembered even those who came from neighborhoods far out.) With each and everyone of them looking out for each other, they would make the world a safe place for the innocent.
Pressing the screen door open, she stepped onto the stone porch. Witnessing a boy on his bike. He seemed to have stopped for a moment. Within her hands happened to be a tray holding three glasses of lemonade. Smiling wildly she raised her voice, in hopes to gain the child’s attention.
“ Care for a glass?
It’s lemonade. ”
