In the middle of the the empty choir room, Brittany sat on the floor, legs crossed as pages of colorful doodles and ideas accumulated around her in a semi-circle and a box of crayons just within reach, her head was staring at a layout she drew of the gym, it had title ‘gym’ and just a drawing of the stage and where the buffet was situated and then a few scribbles of tables surrounding the dance floor, she didn’t know what to do next, her eyes darting back and forth to all the scattered papers as she raised her hands to her temples, feeling so very confused.
She had no idea how stressful being senior class president was, and even though she hadn’t met the prom committee yet, she was determined to make her prom theme a reality, it was a genius idea to her, only something her magical mind could think of. Maybe she was working too hard to keep her mind off of not graduating, something she subconsciously knew would happen, she wasn’t the brightest student, but she didn’t know how to feel about the idea of repeating her senior year, how people would react, to her, they wouldn’t be surprised because she is known for being ‘dumb’ or ‘stupid’, which hurt her.
“Ughh..it’s not right.” she exclaimed to herself, using the crayon in her hand to cross out the mistake, “Will this even work? Am I being too over the top?” she thought to herself as she slammed the crayon on the floor, watching it roll a little before she was startled by the choir room door opening, “..Mr. Schue allowed me to be in here.” she said, thinking it was a teacher before turning around and sighing that it wasn’t.
