Missy: "I'm starting to think fate has baby fever. They're all cute though. I've been helping Hunter with Rosebud since she's organic. I ain't saying he's inexperienced with childcare, just that there's different needs for every baby. He's doing great. He ain't afraid to ask questions when he's unsure about something. Little Sweet Pea is gonna be spoiled sweeter."
Hunter: "It's stressful having a human baby. I mean any baby requires lots of care, I'm just extra vigilant over her. I know I have help though. That's why I started a Sanctuary. Its also good to see Sweet Pea is thriving in her new home."
Behemoth: It was saddening to see a baby version of Elara on the Black Market. It's sad to see any baby, but Elara has a way of leaving a deep impression. I'm happy to bring them all to safety. Rosebud is safer here then Hunter thinks. We have humanized Bloodmoon's, though rarer, and nobody with honor would harm a baby. Baby Gators are very loud, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Now if you'll excuse me, I want to find whoever keeps changing thier intake charts to Dino Nuggets.
Queen: "I'm certain any child in the Sanctuary is in good hands. My dearest daughter is adjusting well to her new environment. We slowly introduced her to the family so as not to overwhelm her. I hadn't been planning on taking in a cherub so soon but she wrapped herself around my heart. I'm so proud of her."
Behemoth is wrapping up the sets of cuterly and tea set he made.
Missy: "Don't ya' think this is...a bit much?"
Behemoth: I had to make it pretty, look what I was working with.
*He motions to the boxes filled with Baron scraps.*
Behemoth: I changed the formula for the materials slightly. Some of the older scripts suggested using lead or arsenic. I've made them safe and the materials won't leech together. The set is safe for organics and those with nanos. Elara did ask for practical use.
Missy looks over at the sterling silver ware and milk glass, with sections cut and polished from the Baron's casing. All of which was made by Behemoth's hands.
Missy: "Whelp, it was nice knowing you. Yer' denser than a brick shithouse."
I've headcannoned that normally Bloodmoon's will present their strength, craftsmanship, hunting skills, or poetry; for courting or propositions.
Behemoth just likes making things and doesn't see how this would be misinterpreted. He's just being a good freind.
They had to act quickly, now that they secured the pet shop.
The staff was apprehended and they pulled the blinds over the windows. Sun had flipped the sign to “Sorry We’re Closed.”
Behemoth had managed to squeeze himself into the store from the back door. The door was being held up to the doorway by another Bloodmoon as he took it off its hinges. Hopefully passersby won’t notice the loose or missing hinges…or the cracks in the frame.
“Well, this isn’t the worst conditions I’ve seen.” Sun draws his words out.
His eyes find the staff on the floor. The staff had their hands tied behind their back and were blindfolded. The shop owner was also blindfolded but his hands were free. He had several broken fingers, and his left leg was broken. Sun had interrogated him about who he got his stock from. They already knew of course.
“But at least their cages are clean.” Sun uses a high-pitched mocking tone as he repeats what the shop owner said earlier.
Sun stomped down on the man's hand, breaking bones.
Other Bloodmoons quickly pounce on the man and gag him so his screams don’t attract attention.
Control yourself. We don’t want the Enforcers here. Mask your voice more.
“I get a bit protective around children.” Sun whispered.
He removed his foot and walked towards the back.
How many this time? He signed to the Aristocrat.
“Just four. This is their first ever batch.”
Only four…you sure?
“Yep, they were planning on holding off for a bit to get a stronger cage. They underestimated the Gators.”
The Aristocrat leads him to the back of the store. It takes Behemoth a minute to finagle his large self through the door. The shop was small for human standards and he was far from said standards.
Clearly.
He knew he was considered extreme with his trophies. But, he believed it was only the scum sucking, belly scrapping, dishonored things that harmed children.
He shoved himself past cages with exotic animals. Creatures from other dimensions, brightly colored and doomed to die from inexperienced buyers. They would try to help them, but their resources only stretched so far.
The Gators were in the back. They were all organic variants. Thank the stars above the staff had the minimum of decency to clean their cage and change their diapers. The cage was warped on all sides from the babies trying to escape. Another hour and they might have.
“The staff all had bite marks.” Sun’s eyes and grin peered out from a dark corner.
“They look strikingly similar. I bet they share origin points.” The Aristocrat offered a tube with liquid food up to the cage and they frenzied over it.
Behemoth watched them, hoping their willingness to eat was a sign of good health despite the circumstances. They would be monitored when they got back to the Sanctuary.
As he raised up, he noticed a pair of small eyes looking at him from a cage. When they made contact, whatever it was darted to the back. The sign under the cage had been changed many times.
Staff Bot.
Eclipse Model.
Lunar Model.
He curiously peered in. They would rescue anyone they could afterall. As his eyes adjusted he audibly gasped. It had been a long time since he did that.
“Oh god, what happened?” The Aristocrat asked, fearing whatever sight would make Behemoth gasp.
Behemoth’s claws gripped the cage door and easily popped it off. In the corner of the cage, facing away from him, was a familiar figure with green coloring. She looked almost identical to Elara save for being much smaller.
For she was a baby.
She squeaked and tried to crawl further into the corner.
“A tragedy, all of this is.” The Aristocrat muttered.
Behemoth cooed and held his hand up to the opening. She slowly turned around…holy shit, she looks just like her. With more encouragement, she crawls onto his hand and places her own onto his face.
Sun was now in the doorway. How he got past them, only the shadows would know. "The supplier for her is the same for the gators."
The shop owner and staff would disappear, and the shop was burned down.
A huge structure that may have once been a castle or a stronghold.
Some floors are carpeted in dull red.
Past the main indoor courtyard, the collection is shown.
In shelves, on mantels, pinned to walls, and on stages were the remains of Monties.
Heads, hands, chest plates, whole torso, tails, and endo jaws with teeth attached. Some were made into furniture or some other decor. The rare full body with varying injuries would be positioned as mock taxidermy.
He doesn't fight Monties out of spite or hatred. It's for the love of the game.
There is occasionally a trophy from a different species.
A large Bloodmoon resides here.
He loves the danger of battle against foes his size or larger that will present great challenge.
He mostly ignores those that pose no challenge. Though, he might try to keep those that amuse him.
Miss Mars(?) walks into her living room to find Bonnie asleep on the couch. On the coffee table there's thick volumes on organic anatomy and books on mechanical and techo-organic relationships. Bonnie has been doing lots of research since he was only programmed with limited basic knowledge on humans. She looks over the stack and finds a book at the bottom.
The one was written by Rosado that was descriptive on safety practices for techno-organics.
She grips the book tightly. It's hard for her to open up about certain topics. She lived on survival mode, fear, and self-loathing for a long time. She knows he won't pressure her. She stills feel a weight bearing down on her. A weight she puts on herself.
She puts the book back like nothing happened. She walks out and heads straight to the arena.
Behemoth walks by, another Monty trophy slung over his shoulder.
Missy: "God, he's obsessed with such carnage!"
Judge: "I'm surprised he has repeat partners."
Missy: *whirls around* "What?"
Rosado: "Well that proves he can use self-control when he wants too."
Hunter: "Oh, he's completely in control of his actions."
Rosado: "You know he propositioned me once. I declined."
Hopper: "He propositioned the chief's brother too."
Hunters looks at Judge.
Hunter: "You haven't mentioned this."
Judge: "I-I declined and he hasn't bothered me since."
Missy: "How did my statement lead to this?!"
Nobody, except Judge, saw Hunter's irises bleed red for a brief moment.
Rocky: "You know, Hunter. I'm surprised you didn't try to date Missy. She's your type."
Hunter: "Missy is a dear friend, and I value our friendship. She has her standards for friendship and I accept those terms."
Hunter paused.
Hunter: "She's also not that much taller than me, and is way too much of a mom."
Rocky: "How can someone be too much-"
Missy: "Whoever left that pile of gore better clean it up 'fore that clock strikes twelve or I'ma turn them into a pumpkin. Also Ari, I need yer' help. Hopper's out there runnin' 'round jaybird 'nekid."
Rocky: "Ah, I see....have you noticed her southern accent becomes more pronounced if she's stressed or worried?"
Missy: "Behemoth, stop bringing nearly dead Monty's to eat at lunchtime! Kill them before you eat them! There ain't no sense in eating something alive!"
Missy: "Hopper pull ya pants up!"
Missy is working on a car in the loading docks. She lost her wrench halfway through. She looks under the car.
Missy: "Where'd the damn thang roll off to?"
A twisted hand with too many fingers hands the wrench to her.
Missy: "Oh, thank you......"
She looks up an sees the arm stretches around the car. A horrid face is looking down at her from over the top of the opposite side of the car. The Not Bloodmoon.
Hunter is called to the loading docks due to Missy causing a scene. When he gets there, Missy is waving around her Colt. 44 and trench knife.
Missy: "Come back ya twisty fucker from hell! I'ma cut your shit out!"
Icarus: "Actually in my dimension I was made to kill gods. My given name translated to GodsBane. Rocky and Hopper gave me the nickname Icarus."
Missy: "So did you kill the Sun god?"
Icarus turns to her, genuinely offended.
Icarus: "No, I didn't kill him. The Sun and Moon gods weren't the problem. It was a select few powerful people messing it up for everyone else. Same story for many worlds. I plan to return when the Moon god stops threatening to carve out my-"
Missy: "Hopper pull up yer' goddamn pants!"
Missy and the Not Bloodmoon are watching a drunk Rocky play with fireworks. Missy tried to disarm him but he's acting too erratic.
Missy: "I bet my left fang he blows himself up."
At the very last second Hunter manages to disarm him and kick the firework away.
Missy: "Well that ended for the better. I guess I'll buy you a beer."
Not Bloodmoon: "You've already paid up."
Missy: "Whatchu mean-
Missy stops as blood pools in her mouth. Her tongue finds the hole in her gums where the fang used to be. She looks to see the Not Bloodmoon was fading in the darkened corridor holding her fang. Why had she been talking to it like it was a friend? Why had she let it get so close, when she didn't trust it?
Missy: "How did-WHAT THE FUCK YOU'D DO TO ME!"
Missy: "Hopper I swear I'll give you so many stripes we'll have to call you Tiger!"
The Aristocrat: "Calm your anger, Lady Boss. Allow me to engage in conflict resolutions with our troublesome companion. My dear brethren whatever is preventing you from properly wearing your trousers?"
Hopper: "Itchy tag and seams."
The Aristocrat: "I see. Allow me to escort you to the Sanctuary's head seamstress, Miss Needle. She'll fix any complaints with your garments."
Before he leaves with Hopper, he hands a marked calendar to Missy.
Missy: " What is this?"
The Aristocrat: "I apologize if what I ask of you is of inconvenience, but Hopper must be tended to promptly. Could you so kindly hand this calendar to Rocky? It's to remind him when the payments to me are due. If he's late again, well I dare say he'll not bother you for some time. He needs his legs for that."
Behemoth chuckles at the camera and writes out a transcript.
🔪Yes. I kill Monty models. I've killed others that got in the way.
🏠 I have several shelters I visit. I prefer large spaces. I'm a rather large robot and I want room to store my trophies. I really like castle themed settings.
🚔 I've frequently broken many laws and will continue to do so.
💐 I favor peonies, hydrangeas, and dahlias. Any flower that's big and boisterous really.
💢 I despise a Monty who doesn't live up to the expectations of the one that raised me. I dislike substances that affect your judgement such as alcohol. I can't stand cowards.
