Somewhere along the way, I have grown up to. I guess.

I don’t like watching tears, even happy ones. A 4 hour reality show in which drama is the only factor you can bet on, there’s only that much sobbing and hiccuping I can take. And I don’t care about appreciation speeches either. I am in love with linguistic beauty, and I know how cheap words are.

Some Sousenkyos ago, some girls, I don’t remember which one, when she wanted to thank her fans, said, all these wonderful members and you chose me. Basically, it’s all there is to it for me too, 298 girls of of this mammoth group and I chose you, all the talents in Japan that I can and have fallen for and I refuse to leave you, all the entertainment one can get from the Internet and somehow I found you. These feelings come down with my vote. I hope it can reach you, and multiplied by 112,341, I hope they can make you smile. It’s so much love after all and you have one of the best smiles in the world.

A long time ago, I read a movie review. The writer raised a question, if two people were in love with each other, could the affair be one-sided. That sounded a little ridiculous but the answer was quite sad. The two characters in the movie, they love each other at different time in their lives. You see, fate after all is all about timing, and Matsui Jurina and the 48Group had kept missing each other.

How long management had been grooming you to be the leading force of the group, since Nogunaga? Center?, since New Ship? Sakura no Ki ni Narou? evidences are still strewn around if someone wants to count. I don’t.

It’s not as though you couldn’t do it, it’s just, when you’re at the top of your game they wanted to save you for the next chapter, when they’re ready to show you off you’re not up to the job any more, mentally or physically, or both.
