Um so I recently got a new job working at a pet boarding place and it is. The best. It's a lot of work but I get to be surrounded by cutie puppers all day and honestly it's made such an improvement in my overall mood. There's a dog named Sherlock and he's a beagle with ears that drag on the floor and there's an all white german shepherd named Kodak and an ugly bulldog named Rosco and he's got a curly tail and so many dogs I love it!

I think maybe I'm dpd but im too afriad to talk to anyone abt it bc what if I dont and im just seeking attention or something? Also I went thru the dpd checklist thing and section 1 was rlly confusing, can you dumb it down or give examples?

I don’t think wanting attention is a bad trait necessarily anyway, but it’s worth mentioning that many people with mental disorders feel as if they are attention-seeking or over-reaction about their symptoms. Stigma against mental health doesn’t help this.

As for Section 1, breakdowns of a lot of the symptoms listed can be found in the FAQ.

Section IMust check TWO or more of the following:

I have cognition problems and difficulty perceiving myself, other people, and events. (What are cognition problems and affectivity problems? and More detailed description of cognition problems?)
