i have decided to purchase a criollo. however i can't decide which coat i want, so i will have people vote bc that seems to work the best for my shitty decision-making.

which criollo coat should i get?

I had a dream a long time ago in which I was on the run on foot for some vague reason and stole a palomino stallion from a ranch I passed. I named him Dragon.

When I first joined Star Stable 12 years ago (to the month), I wanted to make him my starter horse, but neither a palomino coat nor the name "Dragon" were available back then.

There've been plenty of palominos added since, and I've bought some of them and given them other names, but I've been exceedingly picky about settling on one to be my literal dream horse. Those that were otherwise perfect would have long white socks, or the wrong conformation, or were just on a model I didn't like well enough. In the dream, he was more mustang-shaped than warmblood. Agile but sturdy.

The palomino Criollo is the first one I don't think I have a single complaint about, so here he is. Here's Dragon. He's been waiting twelve years.

Since the criollos were on sale the other week, and I realized I don't have any proper grullos on my main, here's the newest addition to the family, her ign is Hopecore but she stil needs a nickname

I didnt think I would nab antyhing from the sale but some fuck decided to give this horse puppy eyes and I... I can only be so strong

I love this horse soo much look at the beautiful transition from butt to tail its just- *chefs kiss*

one of my pet peeves that really gets on my nerves but I deal with any way in sso is the butt to tail transitions. The majority of sso horses have the look of a plastic barbie horse that has a hole on their bum where the tail hair is stuffed and glued into. irritates my brain sooo much. especially since we only see the horse bum 90% of the time

Still very satisfied with this horse. The full gallop is a bit stiff, I feel, but I prefer that over some of the other breeds that kinda go the opposite way and have too much excess movement (or where the horse just looks completely off-balance like the selle francais I said what I said)

It's been portraited in a way I could never thought was possible: the amount of details in the coats, the unique gaits, the hairy tail and typical shaved mane, the special animations. It looks so real, so concrete! It's beyond every hope I had these past months 🥺

The team gently took for me these pictures where you can see the Marble Liver Chestnut Sabino and the Grulla. The other coats and all the animations will be ready to be discovered early next year. I cannot wait to hear from you! 💓
