☂: It's pouring down and your muse forgot their umbrella, will my muse offer up theirs?
Areum loved the rain. If there was a place she could find shelter in was either in the rain or stars in the night sky. That night, she was finding refugee in both. Except it was pouring and, although she had an umbrella above her head, the woman not far from her, didn’t.
Her eyes set on the young though beautiful woman standing in the rain and it reminded her of herself. If not for the dark hair and obviously not being too happy with herself for forgetting the umbrella, the woman, standing there, was very similar to Areum whenever she simply walked out to the rain with nothing but her clothes to shelter her. She didn’t usually come out when it was pouring, afraid a storm would come along with it, something she clearly was afraid of. However, that day, she had to. A trip to the convenience store allowed her to appreciate the sound of the raindrops hitting her see through umbrella and the pavements of the streets, a relaxing sound indeed.
It was hard to focus on it though when the woman was being soaked to the bone by the pouring rain. Areum felt compelled to help.
“I’m sorry--” The bright haired girl tapped on the other’s shoulder, feeling the wetness of her coat due to the rain, a sigh escaping her lips. “Here. You need this more than I do,” She said with a warm smile, handling the umbrella to the stranger.
Areum was always able to find shelter in the rain. If there was someone who needed an umbrella was the woman in front of her, not herself. The rain loved her-- it had always been with her, even when she was left at the doorstep of an orphanage, at night, with the cold hitting her bones. The rain had always been there.
Another standing under it was another day with an old friend.
