Thanks to EVERYONE who donated to Shay Sharpe’s Pink Wishes 2nd Annual Feminine Hygiene Drive! ::: Yesterday I had the pleasure of spending the day with the lovely ladies of Western High School as they sorted and bagged all of your donations. :: Sorted and bagged seems pretty simple, but what you may not think about is the lessons learned from this project. :: The students best at math were in charge of counting and equally dividing the products based on the number of panties donated. :: The students who have the best social media captions were in charge of writing an encouraging message on each bag. :: The bossiest student was in charge.. or course. Lol. :: There were also panty sorters who had to indicate panty size on each bag. :: I can’t forget the moving crew, packing & unpacking crew, social media maven, consultants and assistants. :: Long story short the girls are taught and encouraged to work together for a common goal.. the betterment of other women. ::: I was in awe as the young women answered my questions related to the homeless video and feminine hygiene drive. They knew the correct answers and gave great input!
