Luke was more than thrilled to be off of work. His day had been extremely boring, which wasn’t unusual during the offseason when there weren’t as many tourists in town. From his house, he made the short walk downtown so he could visit his favorite bar to wind down, Carl’s Tavern. Sitting at the bar, he ordered his drink and then looked at the person beside him. “Interested in a game of pool?”

“I think I’m getting sick ..” Beckett sighed, resting his head on his hand as his elbow rest against the table.

Isabella was out with a co-worker having some drinks in a black dress that she loved to wear. Seeing her co-worker flirting with a man instead of talking to her, she went to go order another drink at the bar. Waiting for her drink, she felt a hand touch her hip and then her ass. Turning around she found a drunk guy smirking at her. “Get your fucking hands off of me,” she said shoving him away. Turning back around to take her drink, his hands were on her again. “I said, get your fucking hands off of me.”

“Exactly how much Fireball do you think it would take to make you forget that just happened?” Marissa asked the person who had just witnessed her falling flat on her ass in the middle of The Taphouse.

“Thanks for coming with me,” Ethan said, his hand on the steering wheel and looking over at his passenger. They were going to Craig to pick up a part for a car Ethan was fixing. “It’s just always more fun to bring someone along.”

Damn, all a man wants is to go kayaking on his day off and it has to rain.
