Tom pushed open the door to studio 9 and entered hearing lovely chords from Danny. His singing melted Toms heart. 

I'll hold your hands through the flames

Cause I want you to understand, I'll be your man

  Normally Tom sings this, so he was slightly confused as to why Danny's singing it. He guesses it's just practice. "So you came huh?" Tom coughed startling the brown haired boy.

Tom coughed.

Danny jumped out of his skin and muttered a swear word.

Oops, he had heard me singing.

Well, this could be awkward.

"You scared me mate!"

Tom cracked up and accidentally snorted. Danny couldn't help but follow as Tom fell into childish giggles.

Aww, my Tom. 

Danny saw Tom stand up and shake himself off before smiling at him.

His heart fluttered as he glanced at the guitar and mindlessly tuned it.

"What's new Danny boy?"

Danny looked back up to watch Tom pull up a stool next to him and grab his own guitar before sitting down.

"Well, i burnt my hand on the stove" Sort of a lie, it was last week.

"Aww shall i kiss the teeny weeny sore hand better?" Tom replied as if mock-talking to a toddler.

Danny giggled in reply, holding his left hand out.

Tom grabbed his hand and stared at his intricately tattooed arm for a moment.

Danny's breath hitched only slightly.

Those slender warm hands. Oh my g-

Tom pulled the hand up to his mouth and gave it the gentlest kiss. If he had looked up then, he would've seen Danny's eyes become darker, staring at the older man.

Tom pulled away from kissing Danny's hand. He looked up to see Danny smiling, the gorgeous smile he always smiles. "Better now?" Tom giggled. Danny nodded, blushing. "Well I guess we better get some recording done then, t-bag?" Danny smiled, picking up his guitar. Tom looked in admiration as the younger man strummed a few chords. "I- Well we have all day in the studio, don't we? Why rush it?" Tom nervously asked Danny, fiddling with his fingers. 

"Hmm, I guess." Danny giggled, letting Tom shuffle over closer to him. Tom strummed a useless chord, followed by a beautiful melody on his acoustic guitar. Danny joined in, laughing and smiling.

This classic song suddenly changed to Toms all time favourite and Danny's too.

Tom and Danny sang in unison, I'll be yooooouuuur maaaaaaaaaaaan, Tom paused and leaned in towards Danny. Tom smiled, inches away from Danny's lips. He shook his head, "Sorry, it's those blue eyes, they're beautiful." Danny blushed as Tom turned his head away, "No, Tom wait, it's okay." Danny smiled clasping his hand under Toms chin and pulling it up, pecking Tom's lips oh so softly. Tom smiled, butterflies flew around in his stomach. It felt so good.
