designs wahoo yippee!

bunch of yapping and extras below cut

i started these a few weeks ago and im a little eh about them now, specifically sonic line art. but! happy enough to finish them

this started out as me having an idea for silver and wanting to sketch it out, then getting carried away and being like "hey why not do a full body design" and then added sonic and shadow too

that silver idea being: curly ears

i do not know where i got the idea for that but i LOVE it. it was cute in my mind and then i drew it and it was even better

also it feels nice to have a completely original design idea that i came up with myself without outside inspiration! (has someone done that before? idk maybe, but i haven't seen it)

not that that's a bad thing at all!! the rest of my design ideas are definitely inspired from other people's art and designs and ideas and that is totally fine and cool and awesome

but sometimes my brain is dumb and tries to say that im "just stealing stuff and nothing is original or unique" which like 😐🙄 bro it ain't that serious

take inspiration from others!! that's one of the joys of fandom and community!!! sharing!!!!

first off: no shoes and no gloves. paws! + design notes and differences compared to each other

god being a sonic fan now SUCKS because a big part of the character design is SHOES

i hate drawing shoes

at least i get to draw hands as well <3

and also: shadow alt. just long tail lol

i do think the idea of shadow having green blood (and therefore pawpads ears and mouth) is very fun, but i tried it and it didnt feel right with how i drew him :<

but this way he can have cute pink and black mottled pawpads teehee

might try out green-ing him in the future just for fun idk

sorry i dont have many things about sonic 😔silver and shadow are two of my favorites, so of course my brain latches onto ideas for them more. and any physical design ideas/headcanons for sonic are like. just for my au lol

Sonic; The King of Wind masterpost

Sonic returns by force to Mobius, having lived eight years in Camelot he does not expect to find his home the way it was before. But when he returns he is back to being a twenty year old and learns only two months gone by in Mobius. He heals from his wounds and learns to act as his old self again, but his peaceful life in Mobius comes to an end when his old partner, Caliburn awakes in his world and pleas for him to return and end the war that threatens the safety of Camelot.

Not going alone this time, Sonic takes Tails to Camelot and both make a plan to keep the kingdom safe and end the war. However, their enemies are ready for him and prepared to fight back. As well as the leader of their enemy seems to know Sonic better than Sonic knows himself. With Silver and Shadow appearing into Camelot as well, the group gets into more trouble then expected and their victory becomes uncertain.
