I finally have the art!!! Oh my god I’ve had this in clip studio for so long and finally finally finished it. Or I’m at least forcing myself to because I keep going back to fix like very mild things that bug me and I’m going to go insane if I keep doing that.

Anyways I got this idea while playing with my dog’s feet one night. I like to mess with the little fur between her paw pads and see her kick her foot sometimes. I just had the thought while I was playing with her of “hm what if mobians experience the same thing? And I feel like shadow would be a very funny subject for this scenario.”

Also, I am drawing these two strictly in a platonic mindset. If you want to view it as anything else I guess go for it, but I have only viewed these two as being like best friends, practically family. I just had this idea of Rouge and Shadow getting comfortable enough with each other to be gloveless around the other and sometimes Rouge just like mindlessly messes with Shadow’s hands while they’re just chilling together. I always liked the head canon of bare hands sort of being like a very private thing for mobians and really only folks close with each other get to see them.
