yes I can — in this case, it would be a normal payment, just like you’re buying 2 portraits. The only difference being I’d need the specification that it’s going to be a couple-y pic, not 2 separate pics. Hope that makes sense!

What is your favourite thing to draw?

i have to go with hands. i struggle with them and they're often a nightmare to draw in general, BUT there's just a kind of... i can't really describe it? a... delicate-ness? in drawing them that i genuinely enjoy. and i tend to draw long, kinda angular fingers (a remnant of my anime and manga days), which also makes it fun for me. plus it’s goddamn satisfying when they do turn out. back in the day i was an “everyone stands with their hands in their pockets or wears mittens” kind of person, but now, aaaaaall about those hands.

here are some random ones i've sketched recently that i was proud of (some were hands that didn't make the cut of a final draft, some are from a pic i'll likely never finish, woo)

Hey anon, no worries. It’s the sort of thing I need to know, because yeah, it’s absolutely NEVER my intention to do that. I try my best to make sure everyone I draw is represented correctly, and I’m not going to make excuses or point blame, just say I’m sorry that I’ve fcked up. I’ve reached out to the original poster asking for the image to be taken down so I can rework and make changes to it, and then repost it.

Also, definitely no need to apologize for pointing things like this out!

just wondering; about how long does it take you to finish one commission piece, from sketch to line to colouring to completion?

That's not an easy question to answer, exactly, in that it can vary depending on:

number of characters

complexity of pose

complexity of outfits

if i'm in the zone and can "hit the target" right away -- whether that's in the form of my brain and hand cooperating and the pic coming together swiftly; or if there's a gap between what i sketch and the commissioner wants, resulting in editing until it gets to the sweet spot

But, if we assume a pic for a 2-person, waist-up, low-to-medium complexity on clothes and pose, with things going according to plan in terms of my hand doing what my brain is thinking and with few revisions, it could theoretically take between 6 - 10 hours.*

*cant always turn it around in 1-2 days though, unfortunately, since a) email response times/timezones, b) i have a day job/other responsibilities, and b) need to unwind, haha. plus sometimes my brain just hates me and makes it difficult to do work.
