                  THEY’RE BOTH WALKING UP  the stairs when eleven notices the closed door. it’s across the hall from  bill’s   ,  and her curiosity is getting the  better  of her. she walks toward it with a  tilted   head  and gently rests a hand on it. something feels  off   ,  but she can’t pinpoint  what.  her eyes turn back to the other boy’s  ,  an obvious  questioning  expression in them. / / @s-stutters

     she was a new kid in the town. well, people THOUGHT she was new because melanie rarely stepped out. ever. but after much arguing and convincing with her mother the girl managed to get the front door open. but since she was always locked away, they saw her as new. so did bowers. he’d shoved her around a bit, roughed her up. slowly the girl pushed herself up from the dirt of the alley, eyes spotting the feet in front of her. all she can do is shake in fear. it must be bowers and his gang, or one of them...   “ please, not again. ”

                    SHE WAS CLOSE  -  DANGEROUSLY  close. she normally  hated  being this close to people  ,  considering it reminded her of times she rather  forget.  but she was  comfortable  around bill now  ,  and perfectly  fine  with being this close to him. she sits and  stares  and sits and  stares  until eventually  ...  she leans over and  pokes  him. she’s  bored.
