a/n: i’ve been wanting to write for the other characters of stranger things, but i haven’t really had any ideas for a full fic so here’s little blurbs for the teens. if you’d like some for the adults (joyce, hopper, murray, etc) or children let me know! i’d be happy to do them!
eddie;
-not very patriotic
-but will find it adorable if you are
-actually loves seeing you in little red, white, & blue outfits
-whether it be a bikini, a top, a bandana, etc
-will definitely take you to watch fireworks
-probably at lovers lake bc of how pretty fireworks look over water
-& will most definitely have alcohol for the two of you
-can see him attempting a cookout with his uncle & the hellfire club during the day
-but I feel like his uncle would end up doing most of the cooking
-or else everything would be burnt
-would definitely love to screw around with his younger friends (ei dustin)
-which just makes you smile in adoration
-honestly just happy to spend the day with you though
-& to see your happiness at the fireworks
-not to mention he loves getting to cuddle up with you
-bc you still get frightened at the boom of the fireworks no matter how old you are
robin;
-patriotic duo
-honesty a rare occurrence if the two of you aren’t fully decked out
-with the cheap, silly glasses and everything
-she’s so excitable but you love it
-you love how excited she gets over everything
-will either spend the day just the two of you
-or will be with ALL of your friends
-definitely the type of person to go to 4th of July parades/carnivals
-flinches at the first firework going off
-but then can’t stop smiling and watching in awe
-holds your hand the entire time as you curl up/stand together
-will point out specific fireworks she finds pretty
-won’t drink alcohol
-but she’s not really a drinker to begin with
-she’s too hyper & fun as it is
-you’re not sure you want to imagine her drunk
argyle;
-will probably wear something patriotic but it won’t match anything
-lord knows he’s got a unique sense of style
-super relaxed
-definitely will share drinks (& weed)
-will love to watch fireworks with you
-but it’ll probably be somewhere quiet
-like the two of you in his van at the beach or something
-would definitely spend the day with friends if they’re doing something

-definitely does a cookout
-with hamburgers, hotdogs, & chicken
-plus any side imaginable
-hosts a huge poolparty for the holiday bc why not
-loves getting to spend time with friends
-especially during summer where all of you can go swimming
-& stay up late bc there’s hardly anything to do the next morning
-will have a bonfire late afternoon/early evening
-makes sure to have stuff for s’mores
-will definitely have sparklers & fireworks right at the house
-never feels more relaxed than when he’s curled up next to you
-the rest of your guys’ friends spread around you as fireworks go off
-& if you guys have kids??
-he’d love chasing them around the yard all day playing games
-swimming with them when they get all sweaty
-& he’d especially love teaching them how to use sparklers
-definitely one to enjoy the holiday
nancy;
-she’d definitely dress up patriotically
-even if it’s just one piece of clothing
-can see her matching with you though
-like if she has a patriotic hair clip, you’d have the scrunchie
-or you’d both have flag bikinis/swimsuits you wear together
-loves spending the day with friends & family
-can count on having a cookout with her
-& a ton of lawn games
-& water balloons of course
-either would have fireworks at the house
-or she’d pack all of you (you, the younger kids, etc) into the car and drive you to the lake to watch them
-would definitely go to the town carnival if there’s one being held
-loves playing games with you
-& especially loves if she wins and can get you a prize
-definitely buys snacks to share
-makes sure to ride the Ferris wheel w/ you too
-& will probably make it so you can watch the fireworks from there
jonathan;
-4th of July is really lowkey with him
-never really did much since it was just him, Will, & Joyce
-plus they never had much money
-but it’s all fine by you
-you’re more than happy to have a small cookout with him and his family
-since you’ve all gotten closer to the others though
-you’d definitely find yourself joining up with them for the holiday
-either going to the big cookout/pool party at Steve’s
-or joining up with just your guys’ friends and family at Nancy’s
-might share a drink or two together
-but he’s not really a big drinker so you might not
-will definitely be more than happy just being by your side for the day though
-loves seeing you & will happy
-especially loves when you & will are talking/hanging out with smiles on both your faces
-might wear red, white, & blue if he’s got it
-like as a flannel shirt
-but would never wear anything flag patterned
-not that he doesn’t like it
-but it’s just not him in the slightest
-loves seeing you all decked out though if you’re that type of person
