Why is the St Cloud, Minnesota area district that once housed the nutjob Michelle Bachmann & the almost equally nutty incumbent Tom Emmer, keeps electing nutjobs? Real Talk
BP and I hit the gym in our building this morning! It’s the first time we’ve been to the gym since Corvallis--EEK! We purchased bands in California, first Jawbone, then FitBit, so we were still working on keeping our activity levels up, but nothing beats a nice sweaty sesh at the gym.
I’ve learned that in places that don’t have a gym as part of their complex, I really should just bite the bullet and spend the money for an off-site gym membership. I just always worry about stupid contracts and not using the membership enough to justify the cost.
Taking baby steps for now--just 30 minutes on the elliptical, and a cool down on the treadmill. I’m supposed to receive my new band charger tomorrow, so for today, I’m just going to try to stay up and about!

Coming to Minneapolis this August, is the Secular Women Work conference. No, not all atheists are men, a lot are women and indeed, there are African American or Latino women. Oh by the way, one doesn't have to be an atheist to believe in secularism. Just one has to believe we shouldn't be a theocracy.
