what the fuck is up with brenner’s hair?

These pictures are supposed to, canonically, be only a few HOURS apart, on the same day (the day of the massacre), and yet, his hair is DRASTICALLY different- it’s thinner on the left, and all white and lacking the dark grey roots.

“Oh, but Em, it’s just that harsh training room lighting making it look lighter”

Well, let’s compare two different training room scenes with the same lighting:

The wig on the right has much darker, grey roots, whereas the first wig has those white roots. The one on the left is also thinner, with more scalp visible.

And if showing both hairstyles in the same lighting from the same angle wasn’t enough to convince that they’re different, then what about the fact that these are are two different wigs entirely:

We have that grey wig in the bottom middle and the 1979 white wig on top. They’re two different wigs. Theyre two different Brenners. We also have two different “good morning” scenes on the day of the massacre, something I’m still working on an analysis of, because that would track with two different Brenners/timelines.

And the fact that the middle, grey-haired wig is tilted so that we can’t see the label/date? Suspicious as fuck.

There’s also that weird as FUCK bottom left 1979 stringy/mostly bald Brenner wig that looks suspiciously familiar:

“Your Papa Calls It Soteria”: Whose Papa?

So, I know James has mentioned the idea of a distinction between “Papa” and Brenner, but today, I want to talk about something slightly different- the distinction between Papas.

So, when we look at this scene:

The specific wording of “your Papa” is very interesting to me because it’s like. What other Papa is there? And is he not also Your Papa, Henward??? And El simply knows him as “Papa,” so why the distinction with “your Papa”?

Which, it’s particularly interesting to me that the tunnel scene is the scene with the “your Papa,” line, because that’s also the scene that I talked about in this post regarding the “I meant what I said when I called this place a prison,” line and the fact that as far as we see, Henward never said anything about a prison until after the tunnel scene.

In some other scenes, though, it’s just “Papa,”

Richard and Martin Brenner, I am staring directly at you. I’m also staring directly at all of the posts I’ve made about the multiple Brenners during NINA (such as this post, this post, and this post) and I’m like. Okay so which one of your is “El’s Papa”/“Your Papa”?

And I’m also staring at “Your Papa,” vs “Papa,” and at the multiple Henwards during NINA and I’m like okay so does one of you have the Same Papa as El (hence just “Papa,” ) whereas one of you has a different Papa (hence “Your Papa”)?????

Would love to know why Brenner’s hair part changes sides in the NINA bunker

And would love to know why one of these Brenners is the same hair part side as s1 Brenner whereas the other is the same hair part side as in-NINA (non bunker) Brenner

Haunted by the fact that one of the Brenners in the NINA bunker has a middle part/pushed back hair.

Compared to this NINA bunker Brenner with the part on screen right:

Brenner’s Hair, El’s Hair, Will’s Hair and The ST Wig Department- When Will The Production Error Allegations End?

So, does anyone want to try and tell me again that the differences between Brenner’s wigs are production errors?

Sarah Hindsgaul literally took the time to think about the rate at which Brenner’s hair would have gone white based on his stress levels. They aren’t half-assing anything here:

The ST wig team has literally accomplished things that were previously believed to be impossible in the wig industry, such as El’s buzzcut- they even FLEW SOMEONE OUT to make sure that her wig was PERFECT:

Will’s wonky bowlcut is intentional. It is not meant to always be pretty. It is meant to look weird and awkward:

Just because you don’t personally like something doesn’t mean it’s unintentional. When will the production error allegations end???

SO many people try and tell me all the time that the ST wig department just isn’t paying attention or that it’s not that deep or that the costuming isn’t that deep, but the same people saying those things are also always the same people who haven’t even tried reading even ONE article about ST production. You guys are just talking out of your ass without bothering to even try to take the time to research, and it’s frustrating.

This isn’t me being like “omg people are soo dumb for not knowing it’s intentional” this is me being like “people are so dumb for not even being willing to take a minute to google literally any article about the area of ST production that they’re claiming is unintentional/not that deep/is bad work”.
