my partner wanted to cheer me up so he gave me my christmas gift two months early: a fully functional Suiko ST-60!!! it's technically my first synth, and i love it with all my heart 💜i fell in love with it earlier this year and he somehow managed to get his hands on one. it's a 90's poetry synthesizer, which is a really interesting concept in itself and you should check them out. i've never seen a synth with keys notated in katakana "do-re-mi" before, and this is just one of many things that makes this instrument so appealing to a music lover and synth enthusiast who isn't necessarily a musician
