A perfect start to a long weekend

I got home from Chicago last night looking forward to my first real vacation day of 2014.  This week’s IM training plan calls for a 2.5 hour ride and we decided to do it today rather than wait until Sunday.  Even better, we decided to try the little bistro near the Dakota Trail in St. Bonifacius .

This is a route we ridden for years, always promising to try the bistro but never finding the time to do so.  The weather was perfect; cool temps, bright sun and a light breeze.  I even took advantage of Beth’s offer to lead for a few miles. 

St. Boni’s Bistro was great.  It wasn’t cheap, but the service was good and the food was very high quality (and they serve breakfast until 4).
