Going out on one of the hottest days of the year probably wasn’t the best idea, but y/n has made plans with robin before they knew the weather was going to be so severe. She was never able to cancel on robin even if she had woken up already feeling dizzy because of the heat.
They hadn’t made specific plans for what they were doing so y/n had managed to get them to hang out in a place with air conditioning. But air conditioning didn’t really compete with 100 degree weather.
Spending time with Robin was usually one of y/n’s favourite things to do, but not when she was so worried about collapsing in the middle of the mall.
She was definitely rather distracted by her girlfriend's adorable rambles. About what, she wasn’t sure. But listening to her voice as they wandered slowly around the mall was definitely lovely. She had their arms looped through eachothers and even though they had gone into about 6 stores, there were no bags hanging from their arms.
Window shopping.
But her girlfriend’s rambles got a little less adorable when she felt as though she was listening to them under water.
She continued to try and just get through it, walking beside robin and just trying to get her hearing to come back properly, but when the room started spinning she stopped in her tracks, unintentionally pulling robin back with her.
“ you okay, babe ?” she questioned, her arm sliding out of y/n’s to properly look at her. The colour had completely drained from her face and a reasonably scared look on her face. “ y/n ?” she questioned again when she didn’t get an answer.
“ The room is spinning “ was all she said and Robin began panicking.
“Okay, okay. Let's sit you down over here, alright?” she wrapped her arms around y/n and led her over to one of the unused chairs in the food court nearby, kneeling down in front of her with her hands rested on y/n’s knees. She wasn't exactly sure what to do, but she ran over everything she might know in her head.
Ice pack , that was for a bruise or a sprain.
Inhaler, asthma attack
Shade and cold compress, heatstroke.
Of all the useless information in her head, why was none of it useful right now when she needed it.
Water!
“ i’m gonna grab you a bottle of water, okay? I’ll be right back”
After a small nod from y/n she walked across the foodcourt to buy a bottle of water from one of the restaurants there, pretty much sprinting back to where y/n was still sat on the chair she left her on.
“ here, drink this, slowly though.” she said after screwing off the cap and offering the bottle out to her.
y/n gladly took it and began to slowly sip it as instructed.
“ thank you “ she uttered quietly, capping up the bottle and setting it down between her legs.
“How’re you feeling?” robin questioned, pulling up another empty chair to sit beside y/n.
“ ‘m okay. ‘m just sorry i scared you “ she had seen it the moment she sat down that robin was freaking out a little over what happened. .
“ don’t worry about that. Just need to know that you’re okay. “
“ i’m okay. I swear “
“ good, now do you think you can walk back to the car? I can drive you back home and we can hang out where we can be stationary “
A soft laugh fell from y/n’s lips as she nodded
“ yeah, i can walk back to the car, but you might have to drive “ she pulled her keys out of her shorts pocket and held them out for robin to take.
“ well then, let’s get you up and go “ robin spoke as she stood from her own chair and offered both of her hands out to y/n to help her off of the chair so they could get back to the car safely.
After the short drive back to y/n’s house, robin helped her out of the car even after her insistence that she was okay. They set up a fan in the living room and with a bowl of chips in between them they sat down and watched a movie. Even if it was only for about half an hour before y/n had moved the chips out of the way and was making out with her girlfriend with the sounds of ghostbusters now just a background noise
russia plot is so funny cause it’ll cut to it and i’ll be like ugh i rly don’t care and then there will be a jopper kiss on my screen and i’ll be like nvm the russia scenes are best part of this season
