This blog is probably no longer active but where did you guys start finding resources about Derby? I wanna write a roller derby au but I don't know where to start

Kaitlyn says, "Honestly, I think we just googled rules. :D I remember finding blogs with guides about how to train for try-outs as a beginner, lists of terms to know, common plays etc. Also watching taped games on youtube, there's quite a number of those. None of this was a deep dive on google, I don't have that much patience or love for research.

Oh, and watching that Elliot Page movie, Whip It. That was all I knew about roller derby when we started writing. It's not very accurate. But it is fun.

i just came across your odd todd 10 years post i cant believe its been 10 years, i remember writing an odd squad fanfic one day, and just being obsessed with odd todd (as a character) crazy how much times change

Yeah! It’s wild that it has been over 10 years (11 years in just over a month). Also can’t believe that the show is still running (they officially announced osuk s2 aka os s5 just the other day haha)

Also yessss odd todd will forever be the best villain on the show
