THIS. i mean, it’s almost like society is YET AGAIN trying to take the blame away from the aggressor. like, it’s not HIS fault — it’s the movie’s fault. No. It’s his fault. The movie/director/crew should not be blamed for his psychopathy.

EXACTLY. And it's like, there are plenty of other "violent" films out, and the only reason this one was chosen was because it was a midnight release, and it would cause a huge media splash... Which it did. But it just bothers me that they're picking on TDKR and Chris when he DOESN'T DESERVE IT. Honestly, this just as easily could've happened during 'The Avengers', and can still happen in films like 'The Bourne Legacy' and 'Skyfall', which people will deem 'violent'... And the thing is they aren't just about killing and it's so FRUSTRATING idk. It's the killer's fault so stop disposing blame on people who don't deserve it.
