1. PREAMBLE
Following last year’s success, ‘Jaci Week’ now refers to a seven day long prompt event organised by a small group of Far Cry 5 fans focussed on the pairing of Jacob Seed and Staci Pratt. This event will take place on the second week of July as before, starting on Monday July 6th and ending on Sunday July 12th.
The aim of this event is to encourage creativity in this subsection of the FC5 fandom, and to come together to celebrate each other’s talents. Content for this event will be posted under the hashtag #JaciWeek26.
2. RULES
All forms of participation* are allowed during this event, including but not limited to artwork, writing, etc.
*No AI generated content is to be used for participation in this event. The aim of this event, as previously outlined, is to promote creativity, which we do not believe AI does (or has ever) aligned with.
NSFW content is allowed in event submissions – however, this content must be correctly tagged and labelled as such to prevent any upset and allow those viewing said submissions to be able to make an informed choice whether to engage with said content. Don’t like, don’t read, always – but accurate tagging is essential. Unsure whether you have fully labelled your work? Friendly assistance will be available in the event discord.
Due to allowing NSFW content, this event is not open to participation from minors.
Participants can use both prompts available for any particular day, this is happily encouraged but not required.
Please feel free to create as little or as much per day/prompt as you wish, there is no set word count for each day/prompt.
We would prefer if the work for this event is new and not a chapter or otherwise continuation of an existing or ongoing work.

How do I join?
First and foremost, the only thing you need to ‘join’ this event is to take part during the event. We would love if you /are/ taking part if you could let us know either in the comments of this post, via the @jaciweek ask box, or in the tags of a reblog of this post, but you really don’t have to. If you use the tag, we’ll see it.
Will my work be reblogged to the event tumblr?
Yes, all work submitted to the event that is visible to the organisers will be reblogged to the event tumblr ( @jaciweek ) under #2026works. We aim to make a compilation post of all submitted works at the end of the event – this will not involve reposting but rather a masterpost of links to work. The 2025 masterpost will be posted in the next few days to that blog, after being organised.
My work wasn’t reblogged to the event tumblr – what happened?
Tumblr is, as it always was, a somewhat nonfunctional website. Don’t see your work reblogged? Submit a link to the post via ask or message to the event tumblr ( @jaciweek ) and we’ll go find it and reblog it for you. If all else somehow fails, you’ll be included in the roundup masterpost at the end of the event.
Where can I find the event discord?
To prevent the age old issue of botting and such the link to the event discord will be supplied via direct message – message the jaci week tumblr or comment under this post and we will happily supply a link for you.
Can anyone be an absolute star and send me some prompts? They can be ship specific or not but I wanna start making this blog a writing one and ech I have no ideas.

For anyone interested in where the stab ship name came from, it actually came from the depths of my heart (or, rather, the depths of my delulu mind).
I first explained what the word means in this post:
However, I had already coined and started using it when I began posting my own 3D content (beginning with the Holy Trinity, that is).
Now, it should also be noted that stab has no connection to stacob. In fact, I don't think there is even any staci x jacob content posted so far under stacob tag.
I myself have explained that the reason why I use Stab is because I want to emphasize that it is 75% Staci and 25% Jacob that I care about in this ship.
And most importantly, there are many puns to be made with stab, especially considering that this is a pair of very mentally stable individuals with a deep, established relationship that in no way includes any backstabbing. The constable bois can assure you of that!
Anyway, some kind people have shown appreciation for stab and joined the Stabbites branch of tagging, for which I'm forever grateful :D But then again, use whichever name you like best; it's always up to you. Ooooor, suggest a new one!!!
